closeFrom the pudgy cheeks to the sweet cuddles to the laughter in the way they interacted with one another, I simply could not get enough of these two brothers and their family. I was able to photograph Owen even before he was born or even thought of. Watching and being able to interact in little ones lives like these is such a joy and make me feel like a kid again and make my day extremely bright. Green family you are beautiful!!
This past weekend I not only was blessed to celebrate Mother’s day with my own mom, but blessed to be able to photograph to beautiful women who will celebrate being momma’s this year by adding another (or 2!) to their family!

Although it is hard to look at the snow, the beautiful faces in the snow make me smile. It was a joy to photograph Margaret and Tom. The two reside in California and braved the MN winter for some photos. Both are extremely down to earth, kind-hearted and full of laughter. Our session together was wonderful and I am looking forward to shooting their June wedding!

Can it be May already?! It’s hard to tell when even as I write this snowflakes are whizzing past my window! Oh well, this past weekend we got a taste of summer, even if it was only a few days! I was able to attend a wonderful conference, see old friends, go antiquing with a great date (my 4 year old son!), start planning our outdoor garden, finish up some pre-marraige counseling Kevin and I were doing together to prep a sweet couple for marriage, get a tetanus shot (it still hurts!), photograph a Curious George birthday party, and do some trail running! As the snowflakes melt, I am prepping for a week of shoots, and warmth (hopefully!!)
Looks like you have a busy and productive real life. 🙂
What a joy it was to capture Lizzy and Ryan and their now family of five! Adding these two sweet twins to the mix definitely brought life and so much joy to their session! Congratulations to you both!!
From their engagement session, to their wedding, to the birth of their first daughter and now to their second, it’s been a joy and honor to be able to photograph couples like the Wargo’s as their life changes.

Including siblings in your newborn session… yes or no?
My answer is always yes.
It might feel a little chaotic in the moment, but those are often the images you end up treasuring the most—the real connection, the tiny interactions, the beginning of a new family story.
I’ve loved watching the Luong family grow through all three of their children’s newborn sessions, and those sibling moments are always some of my favorites.
