How could you resist a pair of sweet brown eyes… how about 3 sets! These 3 boys were just a treat to photograph. Even in the heat of the day they were smiling! Here are a few from our session!

This sweet family just fills me up. They were full of love and joy and lots of laughter!! The last time I photographed these boys was when they were 2 and 4 and since then they have grown up! It was a joy to see them again!!

A sweet little baby! I was able to go and see, photograph and hold this adorable little girl at only 5 days old. My weekend was made complete by seeing her and her family! She is such a beauty.

It’s hard to believe the 12 weeks ago I started this personal project. Being that I have not had the time to put together any personal albums this year, I am loving this and actually thinking of creating a family book out of these!
Well summer has officially started in Minneapolis this week! The weather turned warmer, the sun has been shining and the Feder family has hit the beach and the pool this week! I was able to head to Iowa to visit some of my college girlfriends for and evening, shoot a session in the rain, be encouraged while shooting at a prayer conference, enjoying the beautiful summer nights! Next week we head out on our family vacation for 2 weeks, with a few shoots thrown in as well as a wedding. We always look forward to this time so I am sure in the next week there will be plenty of new images to add to my book!
Enjoy your weekend! Hope it is beautiful!

I am always thrilled to find out when friends are having babies, and Angie is no different! I have been photographing her family from when they first had Nora, then on to Levi, and now to this next sweet baby! I have been able to watch their family grow and change over the years which has been a huge blessing. When Angie asked if I could do her possibly last maternity session, we knew we had to try for something different and fun. After re-scheduling, no joke, 3 times because of the spring monsoons, we were finally able to get a day that was sunny and free of showers! Here are a few from our fun session together!!

LOVE all the pics Karen! And it was fun to look back on our previous sessions, too. Wow–the kids grow up so fast! Days are long but years are short. So true!
Katie Nick’s June wedding at Seven Vines Vineyard was the perfect blend of timeless elegance and joyful celebration. From the classic black-and-white wedding party attire to the dreamy golden hour portraits among the vines, every detail felt effortlessly sophisticated.
Surrounded by their favorite people and endless love, these two kicked off married life in the most beautiful way.

Baby Mary has arrived and is already so deeply loved by Nicole and Aaron.
I’ve had the true honor of photographing this family since their oldest was born over 16 years ago, and watching their story grow through each new season has been something really special. From newborn snuggles to busy, full family life being invited back again and again is something I never take for granted.
This family is deeply rooted in the world of forage, county fairs, and raising and showing lambs and sheep, so it only felt fitting to include a little lamb hat for baby Mary’s first photos. A small nod to a big part of their life and traditions.
Welcome to the world, sweet girl
Spring soirée perfection.
Rob and Sarah’s wedding day was a beautiful blend of faith, family, and thoughtful design. Inspired by Monet’s garden paintings, their celebration was filled with soft spring colors, meaningful heirlooms, and intentional details at every turn.
After a joyful ceremony at Eagle Brook Church, surrounded by family and friends, they celebrated the night away at Silverwood Park with beautiful florals, heartfelt speeches, lakeside portraits, and dancing.
One of my favorite details? Sarah changed into her mother’s wedding dress for the reception, while flowers made from that same gown were sewn into her veil.
Congratulations, Rob and Sarah!
