Maternity Session :: Rogers, MN

Nestled in the heart of Rogers, MN, Henry’s Woods provided the perfect backdrop for a magical spring maternity session for Sarah and Michael. As the golden hour bathed everything in a warm, ethereal light, the anticipation of welcoming their baby boy in May filled the air with joy and excitement.

Against the backdrop of budding trees and vibrant greens, Sarah and Michael glowed with happiness. Each photo captured the essence of this special moment in their journey, from tender embraces to joyful laughter.

As they posed among nature’s beauty, their love and anticipation for their little one were palpable. With May just around the corner, I can not wait to see them again for their newborn session.

Como Park Session:: St. Paul, MN

The setting couldn’t have been more perfect. Como Park’s conservatory, adorned with a plethora of spring blooms, provided a colorful backdrop that symbolized the blossoming journey of parenthood that Sara and Brandon are about to embark on.

Outside, the lush greenery of the park’s outdoor area complemented the indoor setting perfectly. The evergreen trees stood tall and majestic, their branches swaying gently in the breeze as the sun peeked through, creating a mesmerizing play of light and shadow. It was as if nature itself was celebrating the imminent arrival of a new life, painting a picturesque scene for the maternity session.

Against the backdrop of blooming flowers and verdant foliage, Sara and Brandon shared tender embraces, exchanged loving glances, and tenderly cradled Sara’s baby bump, each image telling a story of anticipation, hope, and boundless love.

The weather, too, seemed to be in perfect harmony with the occasion. The gentle warmth of the sun, the whisper of the wind, and the fragrant scents of spring created an atmosphere that was nothing short of magical.

As a photographer, one of the most rewarding aspects of my job is witnessing and documenting the beautiful journey of families as they grow. When Marisa and Travis, past wedding clients of mine, reached out for a maternity session, I couldn’t have been more thrilled. Having had the honor of capturing their special day, it was heartwarming to reconnect with them and witness the next chapter of their love story unfold.

On a sunny day in Shoreview, MN, the weather seemed to mirror the warmth and excitement radiating from Marisa and Travis as they eagerly awaited the arrival of their little one. The picturesque location provided a perfect backdrop for the maternity session, with the sun breaking through the clouds just in time to cast its glow upon this growing family.

Marisa, with her radiant smile and a noticeable pregnancy glow, chose two stunning dresses to accentuate her beautiful baby bump. The first was a striking red dress that symbolized passion and love, perfectly complementing the vibrant energy surrounding this couple. The second dress, an elegant emerald green, highlighted the natural beauty of the outdoor surroundings, creating a harmonious blend of nature and maternity.

One of the joys of working with Marisa and Travis again was observing the genuine connection between them. From sweet glances to tender embraces, every moment spoke volumes about their love and anticipation for the newest addition to their family. As we wrapped up the maternity session, the excitement in the air was palpable. Marisa and Travis eagerly shared their anticipation for the upcoming newborn session, where we would capture the first precious moments with their newest family member. The thought of documenting their journey from pregnancy to parenthood left me eagerly awaiting the arrival of their new little one which will be here so soon!

Maternity Session:: Luong Family

Summer is full of family time and babies! I love when I get to see families over the years and the Luong family is no exception. When Rachel reached out last summer to ask if I would be willing to photograph her and her newest little one, I was flattered.

We chose park close to their home in Roseville where we did their first maternity session with their daughter. At that time we were dealing with the elements of winter, and this time around we had beautiful green grass and full trees. We wandered around the path for some shots of her and her husband, and then added her daughter to the mix. We played hide and seek with the blanket, ran in circles to kiss mommy and daddy and even sung to the baby.

Rachel and Tom, it was a joy to see you both again and congratulations!

Minnetonka Maternity Session:: Diedrick Family

Spring has sprung, and along with it so many babies! I love this time of the year and seeing so many new little lives coming into the world into so many new families. The Diedrick family is no exception. I had the honor of photographing their first sweet girl as a newborn and toddler. As they welcome their second baby, I am so thrilled to be able to photograph him as well.

For Emily’s maternity session, she chose to be at her home. We had a beautiful spring day and the sun was shining and beautiful as we documented the waiting of this new little one to be born.

I simply can not wait to see them again in a few weeks and meet this little man. Congratulations Diedrick’s!!
