Do you love wine tasting? Working out together? Cooking together or just relaxing together? Canoeing, paddle boarding, walking your dog, ice skating, biking, or exploring some of Minnesota’s lakes? Add in YOUR personality to your engagement session by choosing the location of your session!
Weather it is the local coffee shop or the park that you met your soon to be spouse at, finding a spot that is sentimental to you can make all the difference in your engagement session.
Typically I like to tell couples that this session is like a date where I am the “third-wheel”. They give us a change to get to know each other before your wedding day and I highly recommend them to couples. They also give me a chance to see how you interact as a couple and you get to see how I work behind the camera.
If you are at a loss for locations, I am happy to suggest some to you, but often the ones that are my favorite sessions are those that are personal to each couple! Hope this helps as you plan a fun engagement session day!

Today and tomorrow I will be sharing some tips on ways to put together your own style shoot.
