Destination Weddings part 1

For the past few years I have been able to head out of state to shoot some destination weddings.  For the next few days I am going to post a few.  I have been extremely blessed by many of these couples and have been able to bring along my wonderful husband and make a vacation out of it!  Here is the first, more to come tomorrow!

    MN Bride

So I have to be honest… I was floored when I recied an e-mail from the editor of MN bride stating that she not only wanted to use one wedding, but two weddings for the Spring/ Summer 2010 edition.  It is a huuuggge honor for me.  Kinda like the golden globes of wedding photography, (well this IS much smaller) but to be recognized in this way was so encouraging to me.  Thank you, thank you, thank you to all my couples from 2009.  I wish the magazine was large enough to publish all your beautiful weddings, they each deserve special recognition for the amount of time and energy spent making them so beautiful!

(Sorry about the quality of the images, I guess my scanner’s quality is not the best!)

        Laughter

Something that makes the world a better place to be in.  Here are some of my favorite shots that have to do with laughter!  I got this idea from a fellow photographer out in CA who’s blog I love following.  Tons of cool ideas, I highly recommend checking her out!  See HERE for Jasmine Star’s blog site.

Such a fun idea! One of Keith’s mom’s favorites from our wedding you did out here is of me cracking up at him making a funny face. 🙂 Love these Karen!
