Friday Intro!

Yep Friday again and 10 things about me, and then you!

1) My mom used to cut and perm my hair when I was a child

2) I was a studio art major in college and used to develop 20×24 photos on Ilford paper, I loved it!

3) I love the smell and feel of freshly washed sheets.

4) I thought I would grow up to be a teacher because both my parents were teachers. I found out later, I’m not really that great at teaching.

5) I recently learned how to make home made soft pretzels. Probably something I shouldn’t know….

6) I got a tattoo when I was 19 and haven’t ever regretted it.

7) I used to lothe camping, but over the years my husband has made me learn to love it.

8) I love a good cab. Red wine is my favorite.

9) My e-mail inbox has over 10,000 e-mails dating back to 2007, but I can’t seem to get the energy to even want to work on clearing them out!

10) My favorite day of the week is Monday. I know crazy! But both my husband and I work weekend jobs and we take Monday’s off, its quite possibly the best!!

Now you, tell me something about you I would never know!

      Watson Block Wedding:: Nicki & Mike

      Nicki and Mike’s April wedding day was a perfect way to begin my 2019 season. I just loved the look and feel of their perfect, relaxed, intimate spring day. The two were wed at the beautiful Church of the Annunciation in Minneapolis. From there we hit up the Stone Arch Bridge where the two were engaged and finished off at the new industrial beautiful space in the North Loop; Watson Block.

      Nicki and Mike were set up by a mutual friend and past bride of mine, Patti. When Nicki called to inquire and told me the two were friends from college, I knew they were going to be a special couple. Because both Mike and Nicki love their family, they decided to only have them involved as their wedding party and throughout the day, I was laughing and crying along side of them.

      I loved how Nicki decided to trick Mike and had his uncle come and bea a part of the first look. With everyone watching and waiting, the laughter came not too long after.

      Kind, concerned about others, gracious, compassionate and all around wonderful people, Nick and Mike made me feel so welcome and a part of their family.

      Congratulations Nicki and Mike, what a beautiful day you both had. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of it. Cheers to so much more laughter and fun as you begin your lives together as husband and wife!

        Minnetonka Family Session:: Beyzak Family

        I think it is clearly safe to say that besides weddings, families are some of my favorite sessions to do. There is nothing more rewarding to me than photographing an engagement session for a couple, their wedding and then the births of multiple kiddos. For the Beyzak family I have been so blessed to do that for them through the years. Capturing them this time around was no different from any of our other times; they just get richer and richer!

          Lakeville Newborn Session:: Blake

          This family! I love seeing them every year and watching their family grow. Sweet Blake was the second newborn session that I did for this Lakeville family. I can’t wait to see them again.
