Finding “your people” as a photographer can be a hard thing. After numerous sessions with Jared and Katie, they are “my people.” Kind-hearted, easy going, welcoming and all around just nice, I was so happy to go back and photograph their newest little addition this winter.
A few years back I was able to photograph their first sweet daughter and adding another little girl to their family and photographing her newborn session made my day.
I can’t wait to see them again in the future, but for today, here are a few from our time together

Finding the perfect spot for Bri and Nick’s engagement session didn’t take much thought. The two met while in their undergrad program at the University of St. Thomas.
Naturally when the couple who has lived out of state for years, decided to come back to the Twin Cities, they chose the place the fell in love. Wandering about the streets of Minneapolis and St. Paul, we chatted about their Wisconsin wedding and I couldn’t help but feel we had all been friends for years.
I am so looking forward to spending their July wedding with them which will feel so much different than how this five degree Minnesota day felt!
It’s hard to believe we are in the third month of 2019! With all the snow we’ve had, I can’t help but dream of the warmer weather and green grass! Mini session dates are now available and I would love to see your family again! Please let me know if you are interested booking a date now as you will have the first pick of times! Locations are yet to be determined, but all will be within the metro area!
Oh January! A new year and welcomed rest. I have been taking this month slow and working on the backside of the business this month. Many client meetings and photographing new babies have been on the agenda. I would love to see you if you have brought home a new lil one or if you are recently engaged!
I love connecting and chatting on-line!

I do my best to connect daily!
Katie Nick’s June wedding at Seven Vines Vineyard was the perfect blend of timeless elegance and joyful celebration. From the classic black-and-white wedding party attire to the dreamy golden hour portraits among the vines, every detail felt effortlessly sophisticated.
Surrounded by their favorite people and endless love, these two kicked off married life in the most beautiful way.
Baby Mary has arrived and is already so deeply loved by Nicole and Aaron.
I’ve had the true honor of photographing this family since their oldest was born over 16 years ago, and watching their story grow through each new season has been something really special. From newborn snuggles to busy, full family life being invited back again and again is something I never take for granted.
This family is deeply rooted in the world of forage, county fairs, and raising and showing lambs and sheep, so it only felt fitting to include a little lamb hat for baby Mary’s first photos. A small nod to a big part of their life and traditions.
Rob and Sarah’s wedding day was a beautiful blend of faith, family, and thoughtful design. Inspired by Monet’s garden paintings, their celebration was filled with soft spring colors, meaningful heirlooms, and intentional details at every turn.
After a joyful ceremony at Eagle Brook Church, surrounded by family and friends, they celebrated the night away at Silverwood Park with beautiful florals, heartfelt speeches, lakeside portraits, and dancing.
One of my favorite details? Sarah changed into her mother’s wedding dress for the reception, while flowers made from that same gown were sewn into her veil.
Welcome, to the world sweet Julia! It was such a blessing to see Travis, Marisa, and Jalen again! What joy Julia has brought to this family! Congratulations!!
