closeI love returning clients. I shot Chris and Sarah’s wedding almost 2 years ago. From then, I have been able to see them every 6 months to catch up on their lives and their kiddos. I am in love with these 2 little guys, both are so stinkin cute. We had a wonderful day of fall leaves and fun. I am looking forward to more shoots with this sweet family.

I have had the great privilege of photographing Alison and her parents since she was 3 months old. We got together for her one year photos at a farm in Andover. She was eager to explore the place and the camera was the last thing on her mind! I look forward to more shoots with this beautiful family!
I can NOT believe how fast kids grow up, my own included. I first met Tara and Mike in February after Alyssa was born. It has been a joy to work with them and an even greater joy to capture these life stages of their little one. This fall we did Alyssa’s nine month photos. Her grandma and aunt came out for the shoot and we just had a beautiful day for photos! (See her 3 month photos HERE, and her 6 month photos HERE).
Six years ago on November 1st Kevin’s birthday present came in the form of a little girl weighing 4 pounds and 4 weeks early, Lydia Rose. We have delighted in celebrating their birthday’s together and love the fact that they share this bond. On Monday, I was going to post this great photo of the two of them together then and now, but thought it best to wait after we got a text from my brother in law informing us that Lydia’s birthday wish had come true. This time it was in the form of another little girl, her cousin, Elizabeth Grace. I think it will be one of the bests gifts she could ever get.
Nichole contacted me a while back wanting photos of their family. She and her husband live on the outskirts of the Cities and wanted a place that would accentuate that part of their lives. We found the perfect location not too far from either of us; Gale Woods Farm (also a beautiful place for a wedding). It was a perfect day for photos and the leaves were at peak.
Issac was so perfect for the shoot, he seemed at home in the hay! Aaron told me later in the shoot that when Issac was smaller, he would sleep in the warm hay while they were working outside, no wonder he was so happy.
Such a cutie!
LOVE, LOVE the tree here. I was inspired to do our family photos here after this shoot, and a week later the leaves were almost gone! I guess that is fall in MN for you.

From their engagement session, to their wedding, to the birth of their first daughter and now to their second, it’s been a joy and honor to be able to photograph couples like the Wargo’s as their life changes.
It’s what makes my job so meaningful and fulfilling! Congratulations Hannah and Jake, your family is beautiful!
Including siblings in your newborn session… yes or no?
My answer is always yes.
It might feel a little chaotic in the moment, but those are often the images you end up treasuring the most—the real connection, the tiny interactions, the beginning of a new family story.
I’ve loved watching the Luong family grow through all three of their children’s newborn sessions, and those sibling moments are always some of my favorites.
