Rebecca was such an easy newborn to photograph and I was lucky enough to capture this little peanut at a mere 5 days old. I am anxious to watch her grow, what a beautiful blessing.

I have been so fortunate to have photographed Alyssa since she was 3 months old. This weekend I celebrated her turning one with her family!

Dare I say it again, I just love babies! And I love photographing them in their environment! One of my very good friends delivered Olive on Christmas Eve, and after the holiday’s I was able to go and meet this little peanut. Trish and I were art majors together and I was so inspired by the way she decorated the nursery. Her husband also painted a piece for Olive before she was born, and after a few attempts, we were able to get a happy, warm baby to lay on the precious piece! I am looking forward to watching this little one grow into a beautiful girl.

Not only is she a wonderful mommy and wife, but she is one of my dearest friends! Gavin was born in August and I was thrilled to see Jana in action as a mommy! I had the great opportunity to photograph Gavin at just a few days old and then again for his three month photos. I am so looking forward to watching this little guy grow.

One of my most favorite things to do is going to the hospital to visit a brand new baby. I have made a game out of it, to see which is the earliest baby I can photograph. (So far, my little sis has won, with her baby being photographed only 6 hours after her birth). Because we live less than a mile from a hospital, my game is still on!
Little Sawyer was born to our dear friends. Photographed at 2 days old, he was as perfect as could be. I am looking forward to photographing him and his sister as they grow together! Congrats!

LOVE it…..!!! Thank you Karen!
Sweet baby pictures, I love looking at them 🙂
Sweetest baby pictures, I love looking at them!
From their engagement session, to their wedding, to the birth of their first daughter and now to their second, it’s been a joy and honor to be able to photograph couples like the Wargo’s as their life changes.
It’s what makes my job so meaningful and fulfilling! Congratulations Hannah and Jake, your family is beautiful!
Including siblings in your newborn session… yes or no?
My answer is always yes.
It might feel a little chaotic in the moment, but those are often the images you end up treasuring the most—the real connection, the tiny interactions, the beginning of a new family story.
I’ve loved watching the Luong family grow through all three of their children’s newborn sessions, and those sibling moments are always some of my favorites.
If you’re wondering how it all works (and how we make it easy), I wrote a full blog post about it! Check it out in my stories
