closeI met the Linders last year in early spring when they had their first little one, Sophia. Her dark brown eyes captured me then, and now her baby sister’s bright blue eyes have captured me! Aubrey is just the sweetest little baby. I was so glad to be able to see the Linder’s again this spring and photograph their newest member of the family!
I have been so lucky to have clients that I get to continually see. I was able to photograph Ana at a mere 4 months as well as Jen and her husband’s wedding a few years ago. I am always so excited to see returning clients because they feel like friends,and Jen and her family are no exception!
Ruth and I met in our daughter’s music class and 2 years ago I was able to photograph their family. Since they have added another little one to their family, the Short and Sweet session was perfect to get a new family photo taken. I loved seeing them again and can’t wait to watch their family grow!
When one of my good friends, Sarah, called me to tell me her news, I probably did just about what everyone else did. “Your having TWINS???!!!”
Now I think just about anyone would flip if they found out this fantastic news, but for Sarah and Phil, double flips were in line. They were already adding to their 3 other children, 2 of whom are almost 2 year old twins and their daughter who had just turned 4! Now heads really turned and when Sarah was introduced to her Mom’s group at church, just about everyone gasped when they heard she was expecting 2 babies and would have 5 under 4! ( I think a mom blog may be in order Sarah…) I am prone to think I would gasp too, but Sarah is one of the most laid back, down to earth, wonderful mom’s I know. She also happens to be a great friend and excellent wife. So these two identical boys just fit right into their family and a week after she delivered, she was back to her routine and welcomed me into her home to photograph these sweet boys, (along with 2 of my children!!)
Can’t wait for many more play dates to come and to watch these two grow into the little boys God has created them to be!

I just love this family. I was able to photograph Jeff and Ashley’s wedding, and now that they have added to their family, I am thrilled to be able to photograph them all again! Baby Bellamie (don’t you just love that name?!!) was born only a few weeks ago and was perfect for her first session. She even gracefully showed off her feather and fabric headbands and sweet -tu and hardly even cried. I am looking forward to seeing this family grow!
From their engagement session, to their wedding, to the birth of their first daughter and now to their second, it’s been a joy and honor to be able to photograph couples like the Wargo’s as their life changes.
It’s what makes my job so meaningful and fulfilling! Congratulations Hannah and Jake, your family is beautiful!
Including siblings in your newborn session… yes or no?
My answer is always yes.
It might feel a little chaotic in the moment, but those are often the images you end up treasuring the most—the real connection, the tiny interactions, the beginning of a new family story.
I’ve loved watching the Luong family grow through all three of their children’s newborn sessions, and those sibling moments are always some of my favorites.
