Mike & Ashley:: St. Joe’s Wedding

It only seemed fitting for these two graduated Benny/ Johnny couple to connect and even marry at the place they started.  Their relationship didn’t begin until they graduated in 2010, and Ashley moved to the South of France to teach English. Mike was on a family trip to Italy visiting his little sister Robin as she studied abroad when he extended his stay for an amicable two weeks with Ashley. The two traveled to Paris where they spent a romantic weekend walking in the rain, admiring art, and sharing sweet conversations in French Cafe’s.  It was only then and there that they realized they had both fallen for each other. They continued their relationship through hand-written letters back and forth between France and North Dakota until Ashley returned home in May of 2011.

Ashley was away for work in DC the week prior, when Mike had just enough time to pop an arguably bigger question to Ashley’s dad, Jon, asking for his blessing of their desire to be married. Jon gave his support, and Mike plotted to give Ashley the biggest surprise of her life (because she is never surprised, since nothing gets past her). Mike picked Ashley up from MSP Airport that Friday, and brought her home to a decorated scene of flowers, photos, and the letters they had written one another while she was in France. Expecting nothing, Ashley thought this shrine was a sweet surprise in and of itself, so she was absolutely shocked to turn around with her hand on her heart to see Mike on one knee holding the most beautiful ring. Through many happy tears, she said yes! (Excerpts from Ashley!)

Their wedding day was filled with so much joy, love and friends.  It was such an honor to be a part of and document!  Many blessings to you both as you walk this road of life together!

      Cory & Angie:: Details of an Olympic Hills wedding

      It was honestly incredible.  The way the weather was timed out on Angie and Cory’s day was impeccable.  An overcast sky provided an incredible backdrop for the pinks and treys they had chosen for their colors, and as soon as the ceremony began, the rains came luring down.  Throughout the ceremony they beat down heavily on Our Lady of Grace’s roof, but not long before the couple were announced as husband and wife, the skies cleared!!  It was an honor to work with such fantastic vendors who helped make Cory and Angie’s day beautiful!!  I can’t wait to share more of this beautiful wedding tomorrow!!

        Cory & Angie:: Olympic Hills Wedding

        She had just purchased her first home.  It was crazy and elating and Cory came with Angie to the closing.  Little did she know that while she sat signing the millions of papers, he twisted and turned the gorgeous ring in his pocket.  Because he knew she had to work late, he suggested that he go to the home and change all the locks on the doors.  While she taught her third grade class then worked into the evening hours finishing everything up and getting ready for the next day, Cory was working on a plan of his own.

        When Angie arrived at her new home, a quiet house awaited her.  Not knowing what was going on, she ventured into the basement where Cory was waiting alight the many candles he had spent the day setting up.  When Angie came into the room, he got down on one knee and asked her to be his wife.

        This kind, caring, amazing couple was such a gift to work with.  Their friends and family emanated the love they had toward one another throughout the entire day!  Cory and Angie I wish you years of an amazing marriage, thank you for allowing me into capturing your beautiful day!

        Marty & Tina:: Milwaukee Wedding

        They both love the holidays. And Chicago.

        And they had been searching for the right person for a while.  Through bad dates and relationships the two finally connected through Match.  Marty reviewed Tina’s profile, liked what he saw and called her to set up a date.  Tina listened to it numerous times and even reviewed with her good girlfriends before agreeing to go out with him.  And what a great time they had.  It even fulfilled a desire her mother had for Tina, telling her that she would meet the man she would marry within two weeks of her golden birthday year.  She met Marty with only two weeks left of they year!

        The two hit it off right away and were a perfect match for each other.  Since being tougher the two have made it a point to go to Chicago for the Holiday’s and to celebrate anniversaries.  On the second year of being together, it wasn’t a surprise that Marty brought Tina to their favorite city.  After a day of  activities, the night came and the two ended up on a bench beneath the moonlight.  At that time, Marty took a knee and asked Tina to be his bride!

        Their wedding day was beautiful and such a joy to be a part of, not only because they are an amazing couple to be around, but because Marty is my husband’s cousin.  We were thrilled to be able to spend time with family and meet many of their amazing friends, who warmly welcomed us.  It was an honor and privilege to be a part of this beautiful wedding celebration!  Much love and hugs to you, Mr. Mrs. Klos!!
