Calhoun Beach Club Wedding:: Paul & Anna

He couldn’t help but stare and stammer, maybe just a little, as the sea of ginger curls came strolling out of the church service.  Nick called his sweet younger sister, Anna, over to his side as he introduced her to college friends, including Paul.  Paul was smitten with Nick’s sister and after conversations with friends, got her number and left her a message asking Anna on a date.

Paul’s chivalrous acts of opening every door for Anna, complimenting her, and his genuine interest in her had her just as hooked on him and that date was the beginning of the three years the two have been together.

After moving nine times across three states, Paul was ready to tie the knot and with the help of two of Anna’s best friends, he set up flowers and candles by the lake in Chicago where the two had one of their first dates.  Getting down on one knee, with roses in hand, Paul asked Anna to spend the rest of his life with her. She cried a beautiful yes and the two drove back home to celebrate with family and friends!

    Green Acres Event Center:: Kelly & Brian wedding

    After a long day working as an accountat at Virtual Radiologic, some of Kelly’s co-worker’s invited her to happy hour.  Needing the break, she agreed to go.  Brian, working at the same company as a software engineer was also invited to that same happy hour where he met a very sweet and independent accountant.  Through the course of a few more happy hours the two exchanged numbers and eventually Brian asked Kelly to dinner.  Being busy with grad school, and hoping to use it as a deterrent, Kelly kindly declined. Knowing he had found a catch, Brian was determined to take Kelly out and continued pressing Kelly to go out with him.  She finally “gave in” and went to dinner with him to the Wildfire on a snowy night.

    The two hit it off immediately finding so they had many similarities including their love for animals, the Humane Society, their sense of humor, and work stories.

    After two years of dating, three cats and a dog later, Brian lined the entry way of his home with dozens of roses and chocolates.  He waited for Kelly to come home from work and when she arrive at the scene, Brian got down on one knee and asked her to marry him.

        Andrew & Hailey:: Buffalo wedding

        It is a classic boy meets girl story, only she looked out her window and he looked out his, and there they were.  Right across the street from each other.

        Being two years older, Andrew hung out with Hailey’s older brother and slowly she and Andrew became friends.  After a few yeas of dating, Andrew took Hailey to Stillwater (one of her favorite places) got down on one knee and popped the question!  Hailey responded with a resounding YES and the two took to planning their fall wedding!

        The fall day was completely amazing for an outdoor ceremony filled with friends and family.  It was a joy and honor to be able to share the day with this sweet couple!  Blessings to both of you as you begin this road of marriage!

          Andrew & Hailey:: Details of a Tavern At Wild Marsh

          I have been waiting and waiting to post today and tomorrow’s blogs.  This was an incredible wedding to shoot.  Hailey and Andrew’s friends and family were phenomenal at helping put together this DIY wedding. Details ranged from blue ball jars, to the baby’s breath that the groomsmen wore, to home made chap board signs, vintage books and roses as the center pieces, home-made apple donuts, apple crisp and apple bars for dessert.

          More to come tomorrow, I simply could not put them all in one day!
