closeIn the heat of the summer, we are enjoying every second of it! This week included a parade, time with friends from Texas, a quick visit to see the cousins, lots of swimming, a few baby shoots, and enjoying the goodness of the summer!

A game of Settlers, a story on the couch, a bike ride, a s’more in the fire pit, and loads of laughing. These are all things that await us as we head down to Rochester to visit my sister and her family. Amazing wife, mother and friend, I look up to her in so many ways. She and my brother in law are wise beyond their years and some of our closest friends. This time around, I brought the camera down to catch her kids in action. Despite the stickiness and hot sun, the kids did great! My heart melted when finally my youngest niece pulled out her true smile and then her cheesiest as we finished up!
I have had the awesome and amazing privilege of photographing and experiencing huge momentous moments with clients throughout the years. In 2007 I was introduced to this amazing couple (well Bryan’s wife! Bryan’s father was my pastor for many years growing up!)
In 2007 I was able to do the 07.07.07 wedding.
In May of 2009, I first met their little Hayley.
We captured her growth at 6 months.
Last fall when we were doing their family session, they told me their great news… baby girl was to be coming in spring!
And a month ago I got to meet their newest addition, little Lydia.
I am honored to do what I do. Thanks White’s for allowing me into the years of your life. I can’t wait to see what’s next!
I am always amazed. Every time I go to visit my baby sister, she shows me more and more what a great mom she is…. one that I strive to be like.
I was able to visit her family a few weeks ago and document their sweet family.
And we had to get all the cousins together… Can’t believe how old they are getting!
To end the shoot, and the bribe… ICE CREAM!!

It is always an honor to have clients continually returning for photos, especially when they drive a hour and a half! I shot Bryan and Jess’s wedding in 2007, and last year did their first family session right after little Hayley was born, and again when she was about 6 months. This year at almost 18 moths, we got together again for another session with their family of 3, soon to be 4! I can not wait to see this new little one! Congrats to all of you, your family is so beautiful!
