Well, here it is. Happy Fall to you! Can you believe it? We Minnesotans have made it through Spring, Summer and now enter the third (probably shortest!) season, fall. As many of you know July is my very favorite month, but September is a close second. Those warm days and crisp nights, what’s not to love. So as we enter this next season of the year, I thought I would share some of my favorite fall things with you!

- Pumpkin Spice Everything! Well me and pretty much all other people love the pumpkin spice lattes, pumpkin spice bars, pumpkin spice candles (Here is a favorite!!), and even pumpkin spice soaps!
- Bonfires! Bring out the s’mores and invite the neighbors and friends over. Bonfires have always been one of my favorite ways of connecting and laughing with friends. I can remember back in high school all the fun we had around bonfires!
- Vests! I am a huge fan of what my husband calls “fall life preservers.” There is no joke about it, I am a huge fan of the vests and have 5 in different colors!
- Apple Orchards. Typically I take my kids over MEA with my sisters and their kids, but this year we have already ventured there because we will be out of town over MEA. Ever since Lydia turned five we have been going to this one. It is my all time favorite and one that I recommend to every one of all ages. Pet the animals pick the delicious apples, and even a pumpkin. And go on the hayride. One year I cried, and my sister laughed at me. Ask me about it later and I’ll explain why, or just go on the hayride and you may know why!
- The North Shore. Kevin and I were married Sept 28th and the North Shore of Minnesota has a special spot in our hearts. Most every year we get a cabin over our anniversary, look at the leaves, and do one day of hiking based on how many years we have been married. This year, I’m not sure we will get up there as we are taking a big trip in November, but I am really hoping for a day trip to enjoy this beautiful location!
Now of course these are just a few things I personally love so much about fall. Now your turn, what are some of your favorite places/ tings about fall?!!

The centerpieces on each of the tables contained succulents grown individually by Molly’s mom through the year and the theme continued as guests entered to find their seating. Individual succulents with a name card attached help friends know which table to go to.

The haze from the Canadian wildfires created the most beautiful light for the evening and even thought dew points were in the 90’s, Maddie and Billy braved the elements to get some of the most beautiful photos.

Billy and Maddie, what an honor it was to share your day with you, thank you for including me in it and I wish you all the best as you move forward in marriage.
