Melling Family

Over the past 4 years now this family has become near and dear to my heart.  I first met Elena through mutual friends and after chatting a bit we met to see if assisting would be a good fit for us.  Four years into it, I have learned so much from her and been blessed to have her as a wonderful photo assistant.

They  were brave enough to forage the cold and snow for some family photos, and she brought some of her vintage cameras to use as props.  I think the boys have a great teacher as they all knew where and how to hold the camera!

    Kitzberger Family

Finally I am back up and running!  After a week of chaos in the Feder home, I am finally back to blogging!

So early December I met up with an old friend that I grew up with.  I was thrilled to finally meet (after seeing so many great photos) her three beauties!  We headed out to a local bookstore, and then outside  to a park for a few family photos.  They were all troopers dispite the cold weather, and we came out with some great photos!

      Monday Sneaks

The past week has been my last week of shooting before the holidays.  It is an end that I am excited to get to and one that will mark the end of 8 years as a wedding photographer.  I have to say that I am extremely blessed by the returning and new clients that I get to see each year.  This week was filled with good friends (marking their 8th year of marriage!), a new arrival for clients that I have had for the past 3 years and a wedding (my first in 8 years) in a blizzard.  It was definitely a great week to remember and I can not wait to bring you more of each.

        Jenny and Josh: Minneapolis engagement

It was a blind date set up by Jenny’s roommate, and they laughed the entire time.  “Josh is full of surprises,” Jenny told me as we met for coffee.  “He once showed up for a breakfast date in overalls and a hooded sweatshirt.”

I found as we were photographing their engagement session, she was not kidding.  I was laughing right along with them and felt as if I was with old friends.  Near the end of the shoot Josh pulled out the infamous overalls and brought his flare to the session.  I got a good laugh with them as he pulled out the 90’s gear (yes, I had my senior photos in overalls, just because they were waaaay cool).

I am looking forward to spending their wedding day with them come summer!

          The Muechleck Family: Stillwater Family

I love returning clients.  I shot Chris and Sarah’s wedding almost 2 years ago.  From then, I have been able to see them every 6 months to catch up on their lives and their kiddos.  I am in love with these 2 little guys, both are so stinkin cute.  We had a wonderful day of fall leaves and fun.  I am looking forward to more shoots with this sweet family.

Look at this cutie hat Lincon is wearing.  I loved it!
