closeOh how I love the Lundeen family! And Angie is always incredible at how she styles her family for photos. When her baby turned one, she brought out the cutest props and her sweet older kiddos helped with the entire shoot! Can you not even handle this cuteness?!
Finding “your people” as a photographer can be a hard thing. After numerous sessions with Jared and Katie, they are “my people.” Kind-hearted, easy going, welcoming and all around just nice, I was so happy to go back and photograph their newest little addition this winter.
A few years back I was able to photograph their first sweet daughter and adding another little girl to their family and photographing her newborn session made my day.
I can’t wait to see them again in the future, but for today, here are a few from our time together
I had the privledge of getting to kno Natalie and Bob and their family a few years ago when I did a family session for them with their then, one year old. Fast forward a few years and sweet baby Caleb joined their family. Smiling and cooing, he was a treasure to photograph. What an honor it has been to be asked into these precious moments in time and document them just as they are!
We got one of the very best last days of summer. The heat and sun kept us going as the Welter family and I wandered about a beautiful park in Shakopee. No one really seemed to mind the heat and in the process of exploring, we captured some incredible places and shots along the way!
I love seeing the Williams family year to year and this year they met me at a park in Edina for their family session. We played, laughed, photo bombed and even got some photos in while we were at it! I am so very thankful to see them every year and look forward to watching them grow over the years!
Including siblings in your newborn session… yes or no?
My answer is always yes.
It might feel a little chaotic in the moment, but those are often the images you end up treasuring the most—the real connection, the tiny interactions, the beginning of a new family story.
I’ve loved watching the Luong family grow through all three of their children’s newborn sessions, and those sibling moments are always some of my favorites.
