closeThose baby blues and the killer smile of this 2 year old made me oh so joyful. Add two wonderfully friendly parents and their sweet doggie to the mix, and this family session was a huge success! I had the privilege of photographing Dax last year, when he wasn’t quite as mobile. This year he gave me a run for my money… literally… and a great time!
I love this sweet family, every time I see them they are grinning ear to ear and I can feel the warmth between them! This time around was not different, it was so great to see all of them and to be able to see how they have grown!
Even though this weekend was rainy, there were a few times that we were able to dodge the drops! It made for beautiful lighting for these two session!

I love being an auntie. My kids have built in best friends and I get the joy of not only doting on my nieces and nephews, but helping in the privilege of raising them. Reagan made her way into the world a few months back, so even since this photo, she has changed. She has already been well loved on by her own family, but also by ours. We were planning on being there a few days after she was born, but a major snowstorm (one of them!!) hit the area. We were all bummed to have missed a day of play together, but instead we were blessed with a long weekend and lots of cuddling with Reagan!
From the pudgy cheeks to the sweet cuddles to the laughter in the way they interacted with one another, I simply could not get enough of these two brothers and their family. I was able to photograph Owen even before he was born or even thought of. Watching and being able to interact in little ones lives like these is such a joy and make me feel like a kid again and make my day extremely bright. Green family you are beautiful!!
Including siblings in your newborn session… yes or no?
My answer is always yes.
It might feel a little chaotic in the moment, but those are often the images you end up treasuring the most—the real connection, the tiny interactions, the beginning of a new family story.
I’ve loved watching the Luong family grow through all three of their children’s newborn sessions, and those sibling moments are always some of my favorites.
