Jim and Jennifer: Gale Woods Farm wedding

He moved her dress slightly to make it just perfect. Really it was the job of the Maid of Honor, but he just couldn’t help but show off his beautiful bride.  During the ceremony, I knew that Jim was the man for Jennifer.  How much he cared for her was evident to all those in attendance.  As they walked out of the sanctuary as husband and wife, Jim smiled as he hugged his bride Jennifer.  She returned the smile, and hugged those around her to celebrate the joyous occasion.  The day continued to flow with the love and care that these two best friends had for each other as they engaged with those around them.  I couldn’t help but feel like I had known this couple for years, they treated me as a life long friend.  Thank you Jennifer and Jim, it was a joy to spend the day with you!  Congratulations!

And here is your slide show!

Chris and Lauren: Bracketts Crossing wedding

Chris took their engagement to a whole new level when he proposed to his woman.  After weeks of working with a jeweler and trying to get her ring designed just the way she wanted it, Chris was ready to propose!  He was told the ring was to be in that Friday and spent the day writing up hundreds of post it notes of why he was thankful for Lauren.  After making Lauren’s favorite meal and hanging the last post-it, he headed over to pick up the ring.  Much to his dismay, and all his work, the ring was not yet ready!  He decided that he didn’t care, and would propose anyway…twice, throwing Lauren for a loop!  She came to Chris’ and was overwhelmed by all the post-its and thought that this was it., but after the evening of Glee and a great meal there was no ring.

The following Monday the jeweler called Chris and had the ring in hand.  Chris took Lauren after work to one of their favorite holiday places, the tree on Cedar that was lit up with Christmas lights.  There he got down on one knee and asked the question with ring in hand!

Their wedding day was just a perfect and Lauren was in for another surprise when she walked into her dressing room filled with hearts with all the memories that she and Chris had made.  It was a flawless day and the love that these two have for each other emanated to so many others.  Thank you Chris and Lauren for including me in your day, it was beautiful!

  • Such a great story and gorgeous photos!

Chris and Lauren: details of a Minneapolis wedding

My wedding season has begun!  It couldn’t have started better, Chris and Lauren were so much fun to work with!  They wanted their day to stand out and found great details to make their day their own.

Lauren’s dress was found at The Wedding Shoppe and fit her like a glove!

Her shoes were found at one of my favorite stores: White House Black Market

Invites were made by Lauren and Chris they used a signature tree representing the tree they were engaged under during the holiday season.

Lauren’s earrings added the perfect touch to her dress.

The flowers and decor were brought in by Event Labs.

Inside Lauren’s flowers held the something old, a ring that was her grandmother’s and a string of beads that were Chris’ grandmother’s.

The ceremony was held at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church in Apple Valley.

Cupcakes were made by Dorothy Ann’s.

And the candy bar favors were a mix of the candies that Chris and Lauren love.

The Cheese and Olive oil appetizers were a speciality of Brackett’s Crossing where the reception was held,  and the Stillwater Olive Oil company.

The groomsmen and Bridesmaid dresses were also found at the Wedding Shoppe in St. Paul.

Their rings were gorgeous!

And the thank you sign that they created continued to hold their monogram of a tree, that Chris freehand painted himself!

More to come tomorrow of this beautiful couple!
