The two met through a mutual friend, hit it off and found themselves in a relationship! Tim and Greta compliment each other perfectly. They know how to laugh and love well. Their wedding day was full of emotion, and I was prone to it. I found myself wiping my eyes and smiling for the majority of the day. Tim and Greta, it was a honor to document your day for you. Many blessings and much love to you both as you start on this journey of marriage together!
Really, this couple with their 18 month old twins grabbed at me, yanked my heartstrings and pulled me in. Love oozed and poured out from Greta and Tim on their wedding day. There were a fury of emotions going on within me as I photographed these two. Their love toward one another and to all their guests was so evident. I was a blessed one to be around them, as I know many others were.
Being helped by many friends, from making the bouquets, to wine tastings, to helping brew their own special wedding beers, to celebrating in Greta’s parents enchanted gardens, this couple had so many fun details to make their day their own. More of the emotional shots to come tomorrow!
Working together at Wigwam Mills, their mutual employer, Tom and Margaret met each other long before their relationship began. Even though the two had a high respect for one another, the relationship did not start until Margaret was out in California working. Tom, with the over the top personality, and Margaret’s softer low key personality completely balanced one another out. In doing anything together, whether it be hiking, skiing, or anything outdoors, the two were always laughing! Friends and family saw that the two together were a perfect match and were both made better people because of the other person.
While on a family ski trip in Aspen, Tom took Margaret completly by surprise when upon taking a break he told her she had something on her nose. Rather than offering her a kleenex, he offered her a ring box containing her engagement ring!
Their wedding day was full of joy and laughter. They were such a great couple to be around and I was treated like friends. Tom and Margaret, I wish you nothing but the best in your married life together. You are both such wonderfully fun people to be around.
And here is your slideshow!!
**Special thanks to my wonderful and amazing assistant Ken Cravillion!!
They were just so easy to be around that I felt I had know them for years! Tom and Margaret’s Lake Michigan wedding was not only incredibly stunning, it was incredibly fun!! Here are just some amazing detils from their day, more images to come tomorrow from this beautiful wedding!!
It began as a crush Lauren was drawn to Tommy back in high school, and she kept her secret crush hidden from him for at least a year. After spending time with him on a bus ride back from a choir tour, she and Tommy “happened” to be sitting near each other and a conversation rolled between them for the remainder of the trip. E-mails and phone numbers were exchanged and after time passed between them, the two were dating.
Fast forward to October 2012. Lauren knew the question was going to be coming soon, but just didn’t know when. The two had spent the night together relaxing after a day of work. Lauren kissed Tommy good bye and opened the door. To her surprise, two pumpkins carved out with “Will You marry me?” were etched into the sides. Lauren, in shock and not knowing if they were for her, turned to see Tommy on a knee holding a ring. She bubbled a yes, and the two quickly began planning for their May wedding.
The day was fabulous, I couldn’t have been happier photographing this couple and their beautiful friends! It was a joy and honor to be a part of this truly amazing marriage! Tommy and Lauren, I wish you both the best as you begin this wonderful, amazing journey of marriage!!
Katie Nick’s June wedding at Seven Vines Vineyard was the perfect blend of timeless elegance and joyful celebration. From the classic black-and-white wedding party attire to the dreamy golden hour portraits among the vines, every detail felt effortlessly sophisticated.
Surrounded by their favorite people and endless love, these two kicked off married life in the most beautiful way.
Baby Mary has arrived and is already so deeply loved by Nicole and Aaron.
I’ve had the true honor of photographing this family since their oldest was born over 16 years ago, and watching their story grow through each new season has been something really special. From newborn snuggles to busy, full family life being invited back again and again is something I never take for granted.
This family is deeply rooted in the world of forage, county fairs, and raising and showing lambs and sheep, so it only felt fitting to include a little lamb hat for baby Mary’s first photos. A small nod to a big part of their life and traditions.
Rob and Sarah’s wedding day was a beautiful blend of faith, family, and thoughtful design. Inspired by Monet’s garden paintings, their celebration was filled with soft spring colors, meaningful heirlooms, and intentional details at every turn.
After a joyful ceremony at Eagle Brook Church, surrounded by family and friends, they celebrated the night away at Silverwood Park with beautiful florals, heartfelt speeches, lakeside portraits, and dancing.
One of my favorite details? Sarah changed into her mother’s wedding dress for the reception, while flowers made from that same gown were sewn into her veil.
Welcome, to the world sweet Julia! It was such a blessing to see Travis, Marisa, and Jalen again! What joy Julia has brought to this family! Congratulations!!
