closeBecause we were out on vacation for two wonderful weeks, I have not been able to keep up with these posts, thus two are here!
Our trip included a time in the Dells, visiting friends and family in Chicago and Wisconsin, and a wedding smack dab in the middle! It was two weeks much needed and full of fun! We in the Feder home are enjoying every bit of summer it has to offer us!

Hard to believe it is Friday already, and Memorial Day weekend! As thankful as I am for the warm weather and smells of summer, as I reflect, it is hard to believe that in a week, my kids will be off of school and we will have completed another school year and the kids are now another year older. It has vanished in a blink, yet I love this stage of life with them as they grow and question the world around them.
This week I celebrated new babies, started the process of a raised garden, planted flowers, went for walks, shot short and sweet sessions in the humidity and during a pouring thunderstorm, had my 4 year old graduate from his first year of kindergarden, lots of walks, got a han-written letter from my grandma, along with a great photo of them at 84 and 87 still happily married, ran, worked on organizing my workflow!

This week was filled with accomplishing goals and celebrations.
Finished my first half marathon…Celebrated my mom and being a mom….First grad party of the year…Crazy wedding day; me shooting the wedding, Kevin officiating the wedding, our kids all in the wedding…hitting record highs in the 90’s!!….lots of playing outside…prepping for a full weekend of short and sweet sessions…two maternity shoots….end of the year field trips…a garage sale…and summer officially arriving to MN!!
Happy sunny Friday. Here in Minneapolis the sun is shining and bright! My week was a wonderful one including a history visit to an old farm, a weekend full of short and sweet sessions and seeing families I just love, receiving a birth announcement from a dear friend, finally hitting the 70’s, re-branding process began, a trip to the zoo, and gearing up for my first half marathon tomorrow. Hope your week was just a wonderful!!!
Can it be May already?! It’s hard to tell when even as I write this snowflakes are whizzing past my window! Oh well, this past weekend we got a taste of summer, even if it was only a few days! I was able to attend a wonderful conference, see old friends, go antiquing with a great date (my 4 year old son!), start planning our outdoor garden, finish up some pre-marraige counseling Kevin and I were doing together to prep a sweet couple for marriage, get a tetanus shot (it still hurts!), photograph a Curious George birthday party, and do some trail running! As the snowflakes melt, I am prepping for a week of shoots, and warmth (hopefully!!)
