closeAs August comes to a close the kids are getting more and more creative as what to do with their days. With quiet in the house, and outside, I knew something was up! I took a peak outside yesterday to find 2 of my kids literally rolling in the dirt and the other spraying them down! Squeals of delight when they saw me, I had to bring out the camera. Here’s a taste of the series and Ben giving me his best manly face! I can only dream of what the following years will hold!
Five years ago, I was in Red Wing shooting a wedding… before texts existed! We had been waiting for the baby to come and I was on edge wondering if it was a boy or a girl. My brother in law was having a great time with it! He left me a few messages stating that ” the baby is here… its a….” and then made the phone cut out! In between the ceremony and reception I made the call and finally was able to get a hold of them! Joshua Stephen had arrived, happy and healthy! I finished up the wedding and headed to the hospital early the next morning to meet the sweet little man!
So happy birthday to my sweet nephew, I can not believe you are already five. We love you so much!
I love the 4th of July! It represents not only the freedom that we are able to have in this country, but as a Minnesotan, the joyous days of heat! So I will be enjoying the day with lots family, friends, watermelon, and some sprinkler time with my kids! Hope your day is joyous and wet!
Finally a day (actually a weekend!) to relax and prep for the rest for the summer! Hope you are able to get out and enjoy a day of relaxation!

Spring has sprung at the Feder home and the blog has recently been neglected. But for a very good cause… we are moving! Finally!! After 4 years of my husband commuting to work, we have finally decided that this is the year to move. It has been bittersweet for me, as I love our neighbors, neighborhood, and being close to the City; but we are outgrowing our home, and need my husband to be closer to work.
So in the past week, I have been decluttering, staging, and cleaning like a mad woman and before the busy season begins (which is next week!) We are praying for a buyer and a smooth transition for everyone as we make the move to the suburbs!
*** After a few of you have asked, we are staying in the Cities, but moving up to the northern Suburbs (Rodgers or Otsego!)***
I didn’t know you were moving Karen!!! Big news! Let me know if you ever need a place to go with the kids during a showing:) Congratulations and have fun house hunting!

Including siblings in your newborn session… yes or no?
