Melissa and Dave were clients of mine in 2007. It was so fun to catch up with them during their family session, and meet their already 1 year old Raylan (who was so wonderful to work with!) They were so awesome and brought super fun props, like a truck and bubbles that Raylan loved. Here are just a few from our session together.

In the Feder home, the first thing to come with swimsuits and pool days is watermelon. It is the first true sign that summer has actually come. Finally, it is warm enough to eat the sweet wonderful fruit the way it should be eaten… in triangles and all messy! The only place I like to allow this is outside! It is the perfect treat for a summer day! Here’s to many more!
Including siblings in your newborn session… yes or no?
My answer is always yes.
It might feel a little chaotic in the moment, but those are often the images you end up treasuring the most—the real connection, the tiny interactions, the beginning of a new family story.
I’ve loved watching the Luong family grow through all three of their children’s newborn sessions, and those sibling moments are always some of my favorites.
