Amy & John:: St. Michael wedding

Although they did go to the same high school, at the time there was no connection.  But years later they were reintroduced through family and friends and the spark was fanned.

Throughout the course of a year or so, the couple became more serious and found a love of wineries.  One afternoon the two were visiting a winery in Red Wing and ended with dinner at the St. James Hotel.  While the two were getting ready for dinner, John popped down on a knee and asked Amy if she would be his wife!  She was thrilled and the rest is history!

It was such a joy to be a part of this beautiful day.  Both John and Amy were so kind and warm-hearted it made it so easy to photograph them.  i wish you both the richest blessings, it was an honor to share in your day with you!

And here is your slide show!!

Celebrating 11 years

Eleven (YES, 11!!) years ago I said I do to this man.

11 years, 4 babies (one in heaven, 3 here on this earth), 4 moves, millions of minutes of late night talks, multiple hikes up rivers, seeing the oceans, sharing frustrations and joys, I wouldn’t  have chosen to do it with anyone else.  I have been changed, molded, sculpted, ripped apart, and built back up into a stronger, better woman because of this man, His love for Christ and his love for me.  I pray we have many more years together, happy anniversary babe!

Nate and Ashlee:: Minneapolis wedding

It was his 30th birthday.  Ashlee and Nate were with a group of friends celebrating Nate’s life and enjoying time together.  Just as everyone had finished singing to him, Nate made a special birthday speech witch consisted of reflecting on his relationship with Ashlee and their joy together over the last year and a half.  As he got ready to blow out his candles, he surprised everyone by turning to Ashlee and getting down on one knee while presenting a special diamond and sapphire promise ring (with the real engagement ring later to come) and asked her to be his wife. He explained how the sapphire was not only his birthstone,  but symbolized truth, sincerity and faithfulness; three of the things he promised to live by in their relationship.  Ashlee replied a resounding yes, while Nate continued to blow out his candles with delight; his wish had come true!

Their wedding day was one filled with love and much joy!  It was an honor to document your day for you, many blessings for the years to come!
