Landmark Center Wedding :: St. Paul, MN

Being the new kid is not always easy, but when Grant moved from the East Coast to a small town in South Dakota as a freshman in high school, he was noticed right away by all. More specifically by one soccer player, Rachel. The two hit it off right away as as good friends and then as sophomores decided to go to prom together. By their junior year, they had gone on a few dates and became inseparable. They dated throughout the rest of high school and into college. After one incredible proposal on Waikiki Beach in Hawaii, the two decided that October would be the perfect time for a wedding.

The Landmark Center in St. Paul, Minnesota was the perfect location for Rachel and Grant to host their beautiful October wedding. The day was filled with laughter and tears and it was an incredible joy to photograph so many emotional moments. Rachel and her bridesmaids began the morning by getting ready at the Saint Paul Hotel where Primped did hair and make-up for all the women in their suite. Rachel‘s mom then helped her get into her beautiful dress from Brides ‘n’ Bells and shoes from Nina Bridal. She then headed outside to the beautiful hotel garden to meet Grant. It was an emotional first look for both of them, but when they saw their sweet Frenchie, Haven, they were both back to smiles and laughter!

The wedding party then joined us for photos in Rice Park, the James J Hill Library, and in front of the Saint Paul Hotel. The women looked beautiful in their olive green dresses from David’s Bridal, while the men supported dapper grey suits from The Suit Shop. Family then joined us for more photos, and then we headed inside to get ready for their ceremony.

Heidi from Jenna Culley Events made sure the day ran smoothly, and Jamie of Wilderland Floral created the most stunning florals for the day. Linen Effects provided the gold chairs and decor that matched Rachel’s vision for the day. Laurie Leigh Harpist provided beautiful music as Rachel walk down the aisle, and Matt Deboer, a friend of the couple, married Grant and Rachel. The two exchanged rings; Grants from Buchkosky Jewelers and Rachel’s gold band from her grandmother. As the two were pronounced husband and wife, guests cheered and the couple took a few moments to themselves. D’Amico Catering provided an incredible meal and dessert table for guests, while Mitch from Instant Request brought the party to life.

Congratulations Rachel and Grant, your day was amazing! I had so much fun getting to know the both of you and I wish you too many years of love and joy! Hope your honeymoon was incredible!

After dating long distance for the majority over their relationship, the two have learned how to communicate well and over the course of time, and through their love of hiking and breweries, the two fell in love. In January 2023, Sarah was out on a hike with Jeremy‘s sister in Phoenix. Much to her surprise when they got to the top of the summit, Jeremy stood holding a bouquet of roses, and was surrounded by photos of the two of them. Sarah was completely surprised to see him and he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him.

Sarah and her bridesmaids began their day getting ready at the Hair District in Chanhassen and then made their way over to Saint Hubert’s Church where the wedding ceremony would be held. Sarah ‘s mother helped her get into her boho Valentina by Wilderly dress purchased at the Wedding Shoppe in Saint Paul. We then headed to the Mary Garden where Sarah would do a first look with her father and photos with her bridesmaids. Jeremy and his groomsmen followed in there dashing black taxes from Men’s Wearhouse. We were able to do the majority of their photos in the same garden. Both Jeremy and Sarah chose not to do a first look, which made the ceremony so sweet as Sarah walked down the aisle, and Jeremy saw her for the first time. The couple exchanged rings from Shane Co. and ended their ceremony with as kiss as guests applauded.

After the ceremony was over, the couple then headed to celebrate the reception at Cast and Cru in Wayzata, Minnesota. Upon arrival we were able to do photos with the wedding party along the beautiful Lake Minnetonka. The women were dressed in a variety of rich emerald dresses from Birdy Gray, and when paired with the beautiful fall blooms from Chanhassen Foral, they looked stunning. The maid of honor and the best man brought fun and emotional speeches while guests enjoyed a delicious meal from the chef at Cast and Cru. Sotalicious Bakery created a stunning wedding cake that the couple cut as guests looked on. Bearpath Country Club Wedding:: Eden Prairie, MN

On a perfect June day, also their six month anniversary of dating, Ranji packed a picnic basket to take to Bde Maka Ska Park in Minneapolis. Being that they had dated long distance, Lora from Des Moines and Ranji from Minneapolis, both knew they were ready to be married. The two enjoyed the sunshine and snacks before Ranji took out a custom-made book with the two of them as cartoon characters. The book was entitled, “15 reasons I love you.” As Ranji read through this special book to Lora she quickly realized how the book might end. Sure enough, the last page came, and Ranji asked Lora if she would marry him. He placed a beautiful ring on her finger as she proclaimed a loving yes!

Lora and Ranji chose to host their wedding at Bearpath Country Club in Eden Prairie Minnesota. They wanted to make the holiday weekend one their guests from near and far could relax and enjoy while still celebrating with them. They ladies began their day by getting ready at Sanctuary Salon and Spa in Eden Prairie Center. They then made their way to the country club where Lora got into her beautiful Mori Lee dress from the Wedding Shoppe. Lora’s bridesmaids all wore a beautiful periwinkle dress in different styles by Birdy gray. Their beautiful bouquets created by Aneta’s European Floral which consisted of peonies, poppies, garden roses and greens were a stunning array of color which added to the July day. Ranji and his groomsmen got into their grey suits from Men’s Wearhouse in the grooms suite and then headed out to meet his beautiful bride. We utilized the beautiful greens of Bearpath for photos of the two of them, then family and their stunning and kind wedding party.

Guests from near and far arrived to celebrate Lora and Ranji. As they made their way to their seats, they were presented with fans as programs and asked to sign into a beautiful guestbook. The ceremony begin, and guests were overjoyed to see Lora in her stunning dress. Her father gave her away and then proceeded to address the couple with a beautiful homily. Lora and Ranji’s pastor did the rest of the ceremony and they exchanged beautiful gold rings from Shane Co. As the ceremony concluded, Lora and Ranji were pronounced husband and wife, and exited with rose petals thrown at them to make for a beautiful start of a beautiful marriage.

During the cocktail hour, guests were served colorful mock tails and tasty appetizers. We finished up the family photos and then headed into their reception. The coupe chose chicken or beef dinner and Thirsty Whale Bakery created the most incredible cake to match the floral array of the day. DJ Rick got the party going and Glamour Spin Camera Booth allowed guests to get a memorable experience of the day as they danced and twirled for the camera. Sam Adjei, a good friend of the couple, caught the entire day on video. The night ended as guests were escorted outside for a fun sparkler exit to celebrate the memorable day! Saint Michael Catholic Church Wedding:: St. Michael, MN

After a fender bender in a rented pickup truck, Katie and Steve made their way down to Capital Grille for a dinner and then off to Orchestra Hall for Brahams 2nd symphony (a favorite of Katie’s). When the concert came to a conclusion, the couple then headed off to Maple Lake for star gazing from the back of the pickup truck in a farm field.  As they listened to Lone Star’s Amazed, Steve got down on one knee and asked Katie if she would marry him. With joy, she said yes and the two began planning their spring wedding.

With its latest beautiful renovations, the Saint Michael Catholic Church is a masterpiece located in the heart of St. Michael, Minnesota. Katie and Steve were the first of many weddings to take place here this year on a this beautiful and rainy April day.

Katie and her girls began the getting ready process at home and finished up at the church where she was helped by her mother and daughters into her beautiful wedding gown purchased from Xandy’s Bridal House. She and Steve then had an intimate first look and together we headed to a few places on the church grounds where we dodged the rain for couple more photos. We met back up with their wedding party and family for more traditional photos on the alter and then got ready for the mass to begin. Emotional and uplifting the two exchanged rings from Loch Jewelers while friends and family watched and gave their blessings to the couple. They ceremony concluded with a joyful exit and later in the evening friends and family gathered to celebrate the couple.

Katie and Steve, what a blessing it was to be a part of your day. Congratulations and best wishes to you and your family!

The Minikahda Club Wedding :: Minneapolis, MN

As avid hikers and adventurers, Maddie and Rob have been on many trips together. One such early in their relationship trip took them to Lake Tahoe to hike, mountain bike and explore. Being that it was one of the first “trips” together, Rob knew that when he was going to propose to Maddie they would be back. In April of 2021, Rob planned a surprise trip back to Lake Tahoe. As they began their first hike of the trip and about a mile in on the Rubicon State Trail, Rob asked Maddie to be his wife! For the rest of the trip they were able to celebrate together and begin planning for their May wedding.

Maddie and her family began their day getting ready at the home they all grew up in. Longtime friend and hair dresser, Meg Cargas came to the home and gave Maddie a beautiful updo while Paige Bodene focused on subtle and stunning make up for the ladies. Maddie’s sister helped her into her classic wedding dress from Che Bella. We captured a few photos of Maddie’s family at the house and then headed to the Basilica of St. Mary in Minneapolis where Maddie and Rob would be married. Both Rob and Maddie chose not to do a first look. The ceremony began with Maddie’s nieces and nephews coming down the aisle… some ok with it and a few having a harder time! Maddie and her father followed with tears shed and a beautiful ceremony followed.

The couple the headed to celebrate their reception at the Minikahda Club in a classic Rolls Royce. Upon arrival, we were able to get some family photos on the outside deck and then headed into the beautifully decorated ballroom thanks to the staff at the club and Westdale Floral who brought in an array of Peony’s, garden roses and Anemones; all in Maddie’s favorite color, pink. Both sets of parents brought tear jerking speeches while guests enjoyed a delicious meal and cake created by Patti Soskin at YUM! The evening was perfect for some golden hour photos on the front lawn of the club, and the night came to a beautiful end as Blue Water Kings Band brought incredible music for all. Congratulations Maddie and Rob, I could not be happier for you. Enjoy your incredible Italian Honeymoon!
