closeAngie is always taking photos. I trust her with all of our friend dates. I leave my camera at home and enjoy the time with friends and family while she manages her kids, the hosting and the photographing. Well we switched roles a few weeks back, and I took up the camera in hand and was able to photograph her extremely fun family. Amazing how her kids have grown since our last photo shoot, and even since our first one. I love this family, it was a great time!
Back in July I met Mackenzie and her family. She was the maid of honor in her sister’s wedding. We hit it off right away, probably because I was chasing her cutie kiddos all over the place trying to make them laugh for a photo on the hot day, and then we were chatting up wedding details! She also mad sure I sat and ate at the wedding, which was so thoughtful! We ended up getting some great shots then, and some great shots now. I was so thrilled to see her again. Enjoy those sweet boys!!

He was leaving for three months. Joining the Army was something Nate had always wanted to do, but leaving his family wasn’t. As his three year old Alivia danced around him joyously admiring him, kissing him, and loving on him. I couldn’t help but get a little teary. The sacrifices that our Army men and women make to keep our country safe is unbelievable. Nate and Jeana, thank you for your sacrifices. You are a family worth looking up to.
It was so great to see some clients, turned friends, again. The last time I photographed this crew, Aubrey was not so happy, this time she was all smiles! The Linder family was celebrating Aubrey’s first year and Sophia’s 3rd year. Grandma and cousins came to celebrate as well. It was a joy to see all of them again!
Since she was 3 months old, I have photographed this unbelievable cutie! She hit two this week and as many say, I can’t believe how she has grown and how fast time has flew!
Including siblings in your newborn session… yes or no?
My answer is always yes.
It might feel a little chaotic in the moment, but those are often the images you end up treasuring the most—the real connection, the tiny interactions, the beginning of a new family story.
I’ve loved watching the Luong family grow through all three of their children’s newborn sessions, and those sibling moments are always some of my favorites.
