closeIt is birthday day for my middle. And a big one at that. Elise is celebrating 10 big years and a DECADE of having her. It is so incredible how fast time goes and I can hardly believe she is already 10. It was another great week! Quick recap of the Feder five:
Winter Carnival

Daddy snuggles and making breakfast for our family
Matt and I have been married for 16 years. We always joke that Matt was my 18th birthday present. Mutual friends set us up and I was completely surprised. By the 3rd date I knew he was my future husband. I had never met anyone with such passion on every issue, especially his passion for God.
We got married at 19 and everyone thought we were crazy, but I never second guessed it. Matt always says it’s the best decision he ever made. We for sure had ups and downs and I know that will continue. I love how we communicate about everything and truly love spending time with each other. I love watching him with our boys, teach them how to be Godly men.
My heart melted even more as we started the process of adoption. Once we made that decision, he was such a rock during the process. Then when we met our baby girl, and seeing him love her unconditionally, my love just continued to grow. That is what’s awesome about marriage. Having a lifetime to have our love grow. I’m nothing but thankful!
I honestly can not believe another week has come and gone. For those of you following on the blog and writing me kind messages yesterday and today. Thank you. Thank you for reading and following along with our life here on the small spot on the blog! This week went so, fast. Like speedy fast and it was wonderful. I hope your weeks have been just as great as we continue on in the 2017 year!
In the Feder home our week included:
A trip to the Capitol
Lots of lego building
Starting the dreaded science fair projects (Why I am always a pessimist about this I don’t know… I apologize in advance to my teacher friends!)
Homemade pizza night
My almost teenager and me finally getting some time in together
Continuing on with one amazing book study (which is one of my books to complete this year, The Comparison Trap, by Sandra Stanley. It is SO good!!)
Another week has gone by and as I looked through my photos I realized there are none of my oldest! She was off at a winter retreat last weekend with my husband, and I think most of the events where I took photos, she wasn’t there! Helps me to know to focus more on her next week!!
Rundown of our week::
Mall of America night; met radio hosts and friends there
Morning soccer with donuts to follow
Lots of sticky fun snow to play in
A day off and a trip to the History Center
