Week 18: Real life

Not gonna lie, this week has been wonderful, and extremely hard.  The week started on a high note with attending a birthday party, watching our city’s fireworks, shooting two newborn sessions, getting my favorite catalog in the mail, school shopping, my oldest getting hear ears pierced and then slowly descended to a week where one after the other the kids got sick.  On top of being gone last week, cleaning up puke, having to play catch up, organizing my sister’s baby shower (thank goodness for my mom and other sister!!), prepping for a wedding weekend, I have to tell you I was honestly a frazzled mess!

Thankfully through it all, the Lord has been so kind and given me grace to give to my children and husband, love them in the way that they need it, send me a wonderful baby-sitter, allowed me to laugh (as my car was plastered with chalk handprints and as I scrubbed the carpet from its foul oder!) and helped me get all caught up with work.

I think we are almost in the clear and I am actually looking forward to getting out of here on Saturday as a day to myself!!

Happy weekend to you all, how was your week?!

Becoming an entrepreneur wasn’t easy. It took a lot of hard work in understanding what I wasn’t good at before understanding what I was good at. I failed a lot in the process.

We often only see the good things and success stories on social media, but getting to the point where we are confident in ourselves and our work takes time and lots of failures. Trust me. 25 years and still working at it!!
