When she said she wanted snow, I don’t think she was hoping for a foot in 4 hours! But that is exactly what Will and Amy got for their December 11th wedding. Nevertheless, they were both completely content and excited to be getting married. We tried to get a few outdoor shots, but the shock of the wind was almost overwhelming, so we stuck inside for many of the photos. I was thrilled to find a bunch of different locations around the inside that got some great natural light, and worked with the for a few minutes to capture just what their wedding day weather really was.

And after a sweet day of shooting, home sweet home, and the view from my front window! ( I can’t remember this much snow falling in a long time!)

It was a pleasure working with you both, many of God’s richest blessings to you as you walk the road together.

I loved what Amy and Will did for their reception. They had a hot chocolate bar equipped with all the fixins as well as Christmas cookies. It felt so cozy and was perfect for the snowy weather.
I also just loved all the details that created the warm feel of the reception. Everything from the ornaments next to the place cards to the favor of hot chocolate to take home. It was a beautiful day.
More to come tomorrow of this wonderful couple!

Loved these of Anna getting ready, on the right is her mother watching her with tears get dressed.
Meeting one another was such a joyful experience!

I loved the centerpieces that Anna and her mother had made from dried Hydrangeas and fall foliage. All were held in antique tin pitchers and buckets.

More to come tomorrow!

A beautiful wedding for two of the nicest people and such fabulous creative pictures!!!
