The year had come to an end, but that was exactly what Steve and Patti were waiting for. After months of meticulous and careful planning, the sun arose on New Year’s Eve 2011.
This was the day that Patti would walk down the aisle, bad knee and all, and confess her “I do’s” to Steve. A few months earlier, actually a couple weeks after Patti and Steve’s rainy engagement session, Patti was playing on her women’s soccer league and injured her knee. Surgery was called for. A few months of rehab as well. Now the question was, would she even be able to walk down the aisle?
Heels were definitely out of the question, so was standing for longer periods of time, but after lots of rest and healing, Patti DID walk down the aisle. And she DID dance all night, and DID ring in the New Year, and had the best day of her life. It was a joy to work with such an amazing, flexible and happy couple. I couldn’t have been happier to have shared the last day of 2011 with such a fabulous couple. Patti and Steve, congratulations and much love as you start your lives together!

She carried an old hankerchif and wore bracelet and earrings (as a gift from her mother) from Macy’s.
LeAnn Stadt of Mary Kay did all the ladies make up.

Because Steve is an engineer, and wanted to be involved in the planning process, he created all the centerpieces for the wedding. He created the vase, light, circuit and all, to make it completely their own!
Earl Brown held the festive reception.
DorothyAnn Bakery in Woodbury designed the cake for the evening.

And here is your slide show!
