Gardens of Castle Rock Wedding :: Northfield, MN

The two shared an APSU history class in high school together and Lizzy became smitten with the red head in her class. Eventually Luke’s friends coaxed Luke to ask Lizzy out and the two have been insepreprateble eight years and counting.

After dating long distance for over 4 years, Luke knew it was time to propose. He brought Lizzy to Stillwater and took her on a gondola ride over the St. Croix River. During the ride, Luke popped the question and Lizzy said yes! The following day Luke surprised Lizzy with an engagement party with all their friends and family.

The long time couple decided to exchange their vows and hold their ceremony at the beautiful Garden’s of Castle Rock in Northfield. Lizzy and her girls got ready in the beautiful bridal suite while Luke and his groomsmen spent the morning golfing and then hanging out. Lizzy’s mother helped her get into her beautiful Elly Bridal dress purchased at Bella Bridal Boutique. Her bridesmaids, all wearing different light blue Azazie gowns, then had a first look at Lizzy. Lizzy also chose to do a first look with the groomsmen, many that were her’s and Luke’s good friends, and then moved on to do a first look with Luke in the beautiful vineyard. LHN Beauty did Lizzy’s hair and Make up, and Linsdey and Hannah at Chapel of M kept the day moving through all the other photos and events of the day. The wedding party was so much fun, and ended hoisting the couple on their shoulders and cherring for the both of them in between dancing and celebrating!

Lizzy and Luke were married under the vines of the Lath House and exchanged ring; Lizzy’s from Helzberg Diamonds and Luke’s wooden ring from Ridgewood Rings. Midwest Sound started the reception off with a great mix of summer songs and Scheel’s Catering provided a tasty meal for all the guests. Friends and family provided bars and cookies for dessert and the floral table arrangements were put together by Something Borrowed Booms. The party got started after toasts and Luke and Lizzy kicked off the dance by pulling guests on the floor and dancing the night away. We headed out for a beautiful golden hour in the fields surrounding the venue and ended at the night at the marquee sign of The Powers from Alphalitps. It was an incredible day and I felt so honored to be a part of it. Luke and Lizzy, I hope your honeymoon in Mexico is amazing, congratulations!

Croix View Farm Wedding:: Osceola WI

On a cold and snowy Minnesota winter day, Lane asked Madison to go for a walk at Minnehaha Falls. It was the peak of Covid and there wasn’t much else to do, so she thought nothing of it. They had invited a few friends to meet them there to walk and upon arriving, the couples headed to the falls to take in the beauty of the Minnesota day. When they reached the bottom, one of their friends suggested taking a photo together with the falls behind them. As they set up the photo, Lane got down on one knee and asked Madison to marry him. She said a joyous yes, and the entire proposal was documented!

Their beautiful summer day began with hair and makeup done by the talented team of SM Hair and Makeup and kicked off the morning with mimosas and toasts in their match robes. They day continued as Madison slipped into her Justin Alexander dress from Our Shop Bridal. The bridesmaids wore beautiful desert coral dresses from David’s Bridal and were paired with colorful summer blooms put together by the incredible Jennifer Lageson. Their simple invitations from Magnet Street were the perfect foretaste of how the day would be. to Lane and his groomsmen sported grey suits from the Knights Chamber.

Friends and family traveled from all over the United States and even the United Kingdom to celebrate with Madison and Lane. The two were wed at the beautiful Croix View Farm in Osceola, Wisconsin. One of their close family friends officiated the ceremony as they exchanged rings from Shane Co and celebrated with a tasty meal from We Cater To You, a catering company Madison worked at in college! We Cater To You also provided the stunning cake and Studio Veil brought the guests to the dance floor. The couple spent time creating signs and decorations that could be used later on and chose to have their guests sign corn hole boards as their personal guest book and guests used the fun photo book from Studio Veil to remember the day. KAS films captured the day beautifully and the day ended with a stunning sparkler exit on the farm.

Madison and Lane, your wedding day was truly amazing. May all your years together be richly blessed, congratulations!

    La Pointe Events, WI Wedding:: Lindsey and Carl

    Lindsey and Carl met while playing Ultimate Frisbee while they were in college at the University of Minnesota Duluth. Both enjoy adventuring, traveling and being with friends and family. While hiking the Grand Canyon in Arizona with friends, Carl unexpectedly proposed to Lindsey as the sun was coming up and for the rest of the hike, the two talked and planned their wedding day. Back in October, I was able to photograph Carl and Lindsey’s fall engagement and it was then I knew how much fun we were going to have on their wedding day.

    Lindsey and Carl chose to have their wedding take place at the brand new La Pointe Events in Sommerset, WI because of the woodsy outdoor theme along the Apple River. Their spring day was absolutely perfect and every photographer’s dream. Lindsey and her bridesmaids began in matching robes while Molly Sames and Emma Sievek did their hair and make up. Lindsey’s mom helped her get into her stunning dress from Budget Bridal Boutique and she went to greet her father for a first look before seeing Carl for the first time.

    The tall pines were a beautiful backdrop as Lindsey and Carl’s wedding party joined us for photos. The bridesmaids beautiful sage Azazie dresses were beautiful when paired with the beautiful blooms that held wooden blooms that Lindsey created. Carl and his groomsmen sported dark grey suits also from Azazie and together this wedding party made me laugh so hard as we had so much fun together.

    Carl and Lindsey chose to have their ceremony along the beautiful Apple River and guests were seated for breathtaking views of the property. Lindsey and her father had an emotional walk down the aisle and the sun made its appearance as the two exchanged vows. We soaked up every bit of sunshine as we did golden hour photos together and then headed into their beautiful reception space where toasts, dancing and a hilarious rendition was preformed by Lindsey’s family and friends from her cabin. Adagio continued to bring the party to the guests while the catering team at La Ponte served a tasty meal and dessert.

    Lindsey and Carl, you are incredible and so much fun. Thank you for including me in your wedding day and trusting me to document your incredible event and I hope your honeymoon to St. Lucia is amazing!

        Minneapolis Backyard:: Wedding

        Whenever a family member would ask Adam if he was dating anyone, he would respond that he was “blissfully single.” He enjoyed running, traveling and serving other people and so in the fall of 2015 when he met Janna at Faith Baptist Church in Minneapolis, Adam thought no differently of her. As time continued and the two realized that they had many common interests like yoga, traveling , adventuring, exploring the outdoors, and running club. The two became really good friends and after some coaxing from both sets of friends, the two began dating in 2018.

        The day after Jana‘s birthday, because she had to be at school on her birthday, Adam and Jana decided to go out for a nice dinner. Jana thought nothing of the time and as they continue their night on a nice walk at a park near their homes, they stopped at a Bench and Adam asked Jana if she would be his wife. Adam proposed with a diamond band and a few days later the two went ring shopping together and Janna picked out her perfect ring, A blue sapphire, with a little tiny diamonds embedded around it.

        The two were wed in a park outdoors on a beautiful July afternoon off Minnehaha Parkway in Minneapolis. Jana‘s beautiful white gown from Bridal Aisle was perfect against Adams charcoal suit and navy tie. Luna Vinca created the most beautiful bouquet of flowers in which Jana had specifically asked for daisies to remind her of her grandmother. Friends and family helped decorate for their wedding day and her father even created a custom ceremony backdrop that was adorned with bright florals of the season. During the ceremony, Adam and Jana chose to forgo a unity candle and wrote letters of thanks to each one of their 60 guests in attendance. It was a highly emotional time had by all, and showed the intimacy of the day. Because Adam collects rings from all different countries he had explored, Jana knew his wedding ring needed to be special. She worked with a designer, Hawks and Company, from Arizona and designed a beautiful gold ring out of materials Adam loved. He didn’t get to see it until she placed it on his finger during their vows. Jack’s Café provided an exquisite meal for guests as they joyfully celebrated Adam and Jana‘s wedding day. Janna and Adam, congratulations to both of you. I was honored to be a part of your day and I’m so incredibly happy you found one another. May all your years together be richly blessed!
