Gale Woods Farm Wedding :: Minnetrista, MN

Love stories often unfold in the most unexpected ways, weaving together the past and present in beautiful tapestries of destiny. Brittany and David’s journey is a testament to this, where online dating sparked a connection that transcended time and led to a heartwarming union at Gale Woods Farm. Their wedding day was a celebration of love, faith, and the blending of two families into one.

Brittany and David’s first meeting felt like serendipity in motion. While they had attended the same Christian school years apart, God brought them together through an app. Unbeknownst to them, their paths had almost crossed earlier due to mutual friends and family ties. However, it wasn’t until their first in-person encounter that the sparks truly flew, revealing a shared background rooted in a deep faith and a connection that would shape their future.

For Brittany, the path to finding love again was a journey of healing and hope after the tragic loss and death of her first husband, Daniel. She reflects on how God orchestrated every step, leading her to David, who not only embraced her with love but also welcomed her son into their lives as his own. Their relationship blossomed not just romantically but as a strong friendship, built on understanding, support, and unwavering commitment.

The proposal was a poignant moment filled with symbolism and heartfelt emotions. David chose Centennial Lakes park, a place that held both uncertainty and budding romance from their early dates. Returning there, he sought to replace doubt with certainty, creating a new chapter anchored in love. As they sat on a familiar bench under a pavilion, memories intertwined with newfound assurance, culminating in a heartfelt proposal and a resounding “YES!” from Brittany.

As they embarked on planning their dream wedding, Brittany enlisted the help of Kathryn, the event coordinator at Gale Woods Farm, to bring their vision to life. The day was a seamless fusion of rustic charm, natural beauty, and heartfelt touches that reflected their personalities and journey together.

Marni from Marni Force Inc. worked her magic on Brittany’s hair, complementing her elegant DB Studio gown from David’s Bridal. The bridesmaids looked stunning in Azazie dresses, while the groom and his party donned ensembles from Men’s Wearhouse and Azazie ties.

The floral arrangements, a labor of love by Brittany’s mother, added a touch of warmth and elegance to the venue. Delicious delights from Mr. Pig Stuff catered to guests’ palates, with a personalized cake by Sonja Lindgren adding sweetness to the celebration.

Music filled the air thanks to Daniel Chaffin, keeping the dance floor alive with joy and laughter. Stationery from Vistaprint added a personalized flair to the event, capturing the essence of Brittany and David’s love story.

The rings, symbols of eternal commitment, were sourced from Continental Diamond and GentleBands, a reflection of their unique styles and shared journey. From the bride’s Kohls shoes to the groom’s Ariat footwear, every detail spoke of their love, unity, and shared dreams.

Brittany and David’s wedding at Gale Woods Farm was more than a union of two souls—it was a celebration of faith, hope, and the beauty of love’s enduring journey. As they embark on this new chapter together, surrounded by cherished friends, family, and memories, their love story continues to inspire and uplift, reminding us all of the transformative power of love and the beautiful grace of God through healing and joy. Congratulations Brittany and David, enjoy your fabulous honeymoon to Charleston.

Hidden Greens Wedding :: Hastings, MN

Love stories often begin in unexpected places, and for Haley and Ethan, it all started with a simple set-up orchestrated by mutual friends. Flashback to 8th grade when a group of friends, led by her sister Natalie, thought Ethan would be a perfect match for Haley. A Twitter message, a bus ride, and shared moments in the school band later, their love story was in full bloom. Fast forward to September 10th, 2022, when Ethan decided to make their love official.

The setting for Ethan’s proposal was nothing short of magical. A double date with friends turned into a day of sweet indulgence at Thirty Six Café in Saint Paul, relishing Japanese souffle-style pancakes before wandering down Grand Avenue in Saint Paul. The two both met when they joined the same coed volleyball team. After getting to know each other better, Maggie and Ben decided to go on a few dates and they hit it off very quickly. After dating for a few years, Ben made an outdoor dinner reservation at the Twins Spirits Distillery in February. Maggie thought they were meeting with another couple, but when she arrived in their own personal little igloo, she found Ben on one knee proposing to her. After dinner and drinks, many of their closest friends and family were waiting at the Royal Foundry Distillery to celebrate with the newly engaged couple.

Having many of these friends and family together again was so exciting for Ben and Maggie. 7 Vines Vineyard was a perfect location for their late September wedding day. This beautiful vineyard, set in the rolling hills of Dellwood Minnesota, was a perfect location for their outdoor ceremony. Laurie LeClair from Flore Inspired created the most beautiful and colorful bouquets for both Maggie and her bridesmaids. Ben and his groomsmen sported classic black suits from Milbern Clothing Co and were all a joy to be with on the wedding day.

After first look with her bridesmaids, Maggie, headed for a first look with her father, and then with Ben. The two spent the afternoon perusing the beautiful grounds of 7 Vines Vineyard with their wedding party for photos followed by family photos together on the veranda. Abella Farm Wedding :: Chisago City, MN

They met long ago. Tyler, a young engineer, trying to leave his mark on the industry crossed paths with Ashley, an ambitious analytical chemist, working to be a hero of science. There were meetings, emails, laughs, collaborations, and as Tyler likes to say, even hateful stares. Years passed and the two went their separate ways. During the pandemic, emails were exchanged and Ashley and Tyler caught up. Their lives continued to intertwine, and eventually the two moved in together, and began sharing their lives.

On Ashley’s birthday, Tyler arranged a series of stops in Northeast Minneapolis for dinner and drinks. One of the stops included Inbound Brewing, which is where the couple had gone on their first date. Tyler arranged to have friends and family there to meet them and upon her arrival, they each brought Ashley a purple rose. Finally, after Ashley’s sister and their two boys entered, Tyler came back while a song played in the background and in front of all, asked Ashley to be his wife.

The two chose to be wed at the beautiful French Country Abella Farm in Chisago City over Labor Day weekend. Ashley and her bridesmaids got ready in the beautiful bridal suite while Tyler and his groomsmen got dressed and hung out in the grooms granary area. Ashley‘s mother then helped get her into her elegant Made with Love dress purchased at A&Be bridal Boutique. Ashley‘s bridesmaids, all wearing different lavender Azazie gowns, then helped get her ready to see her father and then Tyler for their first looks. Their wedding party, then joined us for photos and fun on the patio. The men, all wearing suits from The Black Tux, looked dapper when paired with all the ladies and florals created by Bellagalla.

Ashley and Tyler were married in the Willows a perfect green space at the farm. Guests arrived to the site courtesy of the trolley, and then were seated to under a lush canopy of willow trees. Tyler‘s stepfather married the couple and the two exchanged rings from Wedding Day Diamonds. After the ceremony guests were brought back to the patio area where they were able to enjoy appetizers and drinks from Elmo catering. Local Surly beer was on tap and Northerly Photo Booth arrived for guests to be photographed in remembrance of Ashley and Tyler’s wedding day. Coasters with each guest’s name and state were placed at every setting and were created individually by Ashley and Tyler themselves. MN Nice Cream arrived in an ice cream truck at the end of the meal for guests to enjoy while Ashley and Tyler snuck away for some beautiful golden hour photos in front of the historic barn and wide open fields. The party got started after toasts and Ashley and Tyler kicked off the dance with first dances. It was truly an incredible day and I felt so honored to be a part of it. Ashley and Tyler, congratulations, and enjoy your incredible honeymoon to San Francisco and  St. Lucia.
