Mark and Carrie: details of a Minneapolis wedding

August is such a perfect time to get married and Carrie and Mark’s wedding day was absolutely stunning.  There were so many vendors that helped Carrie and Mark’s day beautiful.

Best Wishes Floral in Golden Valley provided beautiful flowers for the day.

Carrie’s wedding dress and veil were from David’s Bridal in Maple Grove, and I loved her blue shoes!

The gold bridesmaid dresses were also from David’s Bridal.

Savvy formal wear provided the tuxes for the groomsmen.

Carrie’s jewelery was from Kohl’s.

David’s Bridal also provided the jewelery for the bridesmaids.

Carrie’s hair and make-up were done at Simonson’s Spa in Plymouth.

Mark’s wedding ring was my favorite detail of the day.  The imprint that surrounded the ring was hand crafted by Mark Williams custom Jewelery and was an enlargement of Carrie’s fingerprint!  I just loved it!  Mark purchased Carrie’s engagement ring at Arthurs Jewlers.

The ceremony was held at Carrie’s parents church in Minneapolis, Elim Church.

The cake was created by D’amico and Son’s and the Kransekake was made at Wuollete Bakery.

The reception was held at International Market Square.

Carrie found her hair piece and the bridesmaids’s hair pieces on an Etsy site.

The placecards and programs Carrie and her mother hand-crafted.

More to come tomorrow!!

Trevor and Jana: Wellstead wedding

He was super cute.  One that would turn heads, and he was on her cruise.  Jana and a few friends were visiting Mexico for spring break when Trevor caught her eye.  She made her move and the two hit it off immediately, but this was spring break.  Did anything last from a vacation like that?!  Especially when Jana was from Minneapolis and Trevor from Ontario.

Jana came home and found a message waiting from Trevor in her inbox, and then another one, and another one.  Not long after the the two were chatting on Facebook and then over the phone and multiple times on-line.  It felt serious enough that Jana went to visit Trevor in Canada and then he came to Minnesota to visit and meet her family and friends.  One thing led to another and Trevor was down on one knee asking the love of his life to be his wife.

Trevor and Jana, you are beautiful!  Thanks for allowing me to capture your day… I had a blast with you and all your wedding party!  Many blessings to you both as you walk the road of marriage!

Trevor and Jana: details of a Minneapolis wedding

This beautiful Canadian couple graced us with a wonderful, beautiful Minneapolis wedding.  Here are some of the details and vendors that created such a glorious day!  More to come tomorrow!

101 Market in Otsego brought in the flowers for the day.  These were some of the most unique bouquets that I had seen all summer!  I loved the red pin cushions!

The Wedding Shoppe in St. Paul is where Jana found her beautiful dress and earrings.

Flutter Boutique provided the green bridesmaid dresses.

The guys all wore tuxes from Savvi Formal Wear.

Trevor purchased Jana’s ring at Spence Diamonds in Mississauga, Ontario. And the couples rings were found at Jared.

Another great detail( and one that I was coveting on the wedding day) were the sweet jewelry Jana picked out for her bridesmaids from Charming Charlie’s.

Invitations for Less created the invitations, and Jana’s mother made the place cards herself.

Jana’s hair and make-up were done at Taj Salon and Spa.

Advent Lutheran in Maple Grove held the wedding ceremony.

The Wellstead in Rogers is where the reception took place.

And the beautiful, yummy cake was created by the bakers at the Wellstead.

Josh and Jenny: Earl Brown Wedding

“Josh is full of surprises,” Jenny told me when we met.  “Like the time he showed up for one of our first breakfast dates with a hooded sweatshirt and overalls.  Or when he dressed up in the Dumb and Dumber tuxes with his best friend.”

But the very best surprise Jenny could ask for was when the two were on vacation in Paris.  Josh had signed them up for a day in wine country.  It was beautiful and they were both enjoying each other and the view around them.  Josh suggested that they climb up the 200 stairs over looking the vineyard to get a better view of the landscape.   Dragging her feet and lightheartedly complaining, Jenny agreed.  At the top, the view was perfect and as Jenny was catching her breath, Josh got down on one knee and proposed .  Completely stunned, she said yes and the two were married this July.

Their wedding day was perfect and thankfully, surprises were at a minimum, except for the humidity!  Thank you Josh and Jenny for allowing me to document your day, it was fabulous and so much fun.
And the two that set Josh and Jenny up… Had to end here!  Congrats to you both!
