You may recognize this beautiful family from other blog posts.  They are some of our wonderful friends who are out in Chicago.  Our family was able to spend some time with them earlier this spring, and as always it is wonderfully, entertaing time!  Last year we wee able to see them right before their smallest was born!  I am blessed to be able to photograph such momentous times!

    Nelson Family

I couldn’t wait to see the precious little boy that Lisa and Tyler were waiting for.  A perfect little handsome man awaited our session and did wonderfully at just a few days old.  His daddy already has big plans for him, those filled with basketballs and the color blue!  I can’t wait to see this little guy continue to grow!

Michael and Lindsay: Red Wing Wedding

“Happy Birthday!” He said as she stepped in the car!  “Thanks, where are we going?” She replied with a kiss and a look of questioning.  “Surprise.” Michael replied slyly and they took off.  After arriveing to one of Lindsay’s favorite places in fall, the apple orchard, she gave him a hug and a big thank you!  Even though the sky was overcast and looking like it might rain, she didn’t care.  Being that it was a weeknight and that the weather was not so great, the orchard was theirs.  They stolled around the orchard talking about their day and reminising about their time together.  Coming to the middle of a grove of trees, Michael looked at Lindsay, got down on one knee and asked if she would be his wife!  With tears in her eyes and a gigantic smile on her face, she replied “YES!!”

After some other talk, the wagon appeared and the two had their own private birthday/ engagement celebration around the orchard!

Lindsay’s wedding day was just as joyous!  Perfect weather, perfect company and perfect day.  I did not want the day or weekend to end, it was just so perfect!  I am so, so happy for my sister and my new brother-in-law.

And here is your slideshow!!  Happy Wedding day!!

Michael and Lindsay: Red Wing Details

Anyone who has been involved in any wedding planning can appreciate seeing the entire wedding come together.  As one of the bridesmaids, I helped my sister Lindsay do anything she asked for.  We sent web-sites and blog sites back and forth to one another,  she told me about details she wanted, and we had a couple times where we as bridesmaids helped her make some of the details for her wedding.  Because I get to photograph the day, I ususally get to hear about the details from the bride at our meetings and then see it come togheter on the wedding day.  For this wedding though, I got to hear, help and finally photograph the amazing details… and there were plenty to photograph!

More photos to come tomorrow of this beautiful wedding and couple!!

        Kate and Isaiah

Kate is an amazing person, as well as an amazing photographer!  She asked if I would take some photos of her and her little guy as she is the one always behind the camera!  We had an eventful time of running after squirrels, picking up sticks and lots of laughing! It was great to be with her again as it is only in the slow season that we get to see each other!!
