I had the honor and privilege of photographing Nikki and Mike’s wedding a few years back. Last year they welcomed their first little one about the same and this year they welcomed their newest addition. It was such a joy seeing these two and being a part of all the incredible changes that have taken please within the last few years. Thank you Nikki and Mike for allowing me to be a part of all these wonderful and beautiful events!
Spring Sessions have got to be one of my favorites! All the new blooms, new life, and pastel colors make me so happy! But seeing families again after the long winters have got to bring me even more joy! I’ve been photographing the Bruggemann family for the past few years and had the honor of photographing Kate as a sweet little newborn. Now at six months, she is even more of a honey and as fun as her big sister. We had some fun smelling the flowers, throwing up the petals and just laughing together! I look forward to seeing this family again in the fall as their kids continually grow and bring me so much joy!
Water and kids. It always brings the best of smiles and the messiest of clothing! Seeing Laura and her family this spring was a great joy! We had a little trouble keeping her distracted toddler away from the water, but we managed for a time! I was able to capture the Hegland’s in the woods and around all the beautiful blooms, but eventually we made our way over to the water fountain and it was only then that all the real smile smiles came out. It’s amazing what water will do! I love seeing families like Laura‘s over the years, and playing in the water with them!
Jennie and I grew up together and went to high school together. We had bonfires together, went to high school sports together, and laughed (a lot) together. It was an honor that her husband Henry asked if I would photograph their extended family as a Mother’s day gift to Jennie.
We met at my favorite park in Edina where I was able to meet Henry’s sister and her kids. They were all so kind, and we had so much fun in the park together. I look forward to more shoots with the Jimenez family.
There is never a lack of fun when seeing the Olson Family. Sweet little Zoe, only two years old, has the ability to charm anyone. She was continuously making us laugh and entertaining her six month old brother, Gus. Photographing families like the Olson‘s through the years bring me so much joy. I love watching their kids grow up and their personality grow and change. I can’t wait to see them again this fall.

Baby Mary has arrived and is already so deeply loved by Nicole and Aaron.
I’ve had the true honor of photographing this family since their oldest was born over 16 years ago, and watching their story grow through each new season has been something really special. From newborn snuggles to busy, full family life being invited back again and again is something I never take for granted.
This family is deeply rooted in the world of forage, county fairs, and raising and showing lambs and sheep, so it only felt fitting to include a little lamb hat for baby Mary’s first photos. A small nod to a big part of their life and traditions.

Spring soirée perfection.
Rob and Sarah’s wedding day was a beautiful blend of faith, family, and thoughtful design. Inspired by Monet’s garden paintings, their celebration was filled with soft spring colors, meaningful heirlooms, and intentional details at every turn.
After a joyful ceremony at Eagle Brook Church, surrounded by family and friends, they celebrated the night away at Silverwood Park with beautiful florals, heartfelt speeches, lakeside portraits, and dancing.
One of my favorite details? Sarah changed into her mother’s wedding dress for the reception, while flowers made from that same gown were sewn into her veil.
