Getting the entire family together for even a short weekend is hard enough when everyone lives all over, but for all things to work out for one morning to have everyone in the same location for even an hour can be a miracle! Elizabeth pulled it off and before her brother left for California, a nine am session was scheduled and the Elliott clan was captured.
It was so much fun to be with them for an hour and find out more of their stories! I wish them all the best as they al move forward!
Meeting Janna and her family a few weeks back was a huge gift. I loved connecting with them and hearing their love story and capturing their sweet six year old. There was so much to celebrate that day from birthday’s, to ending school for the year and even an anniversary!
I have known both Lori and Doug since high school, and to watch their family grow over the years has been incredible. I was able to photograph their engagement session, wedding, and each of their girls’ births with multiple family sessions in between. Seeing sweet Greta as an almost 2-year-old made me so giddy! As the oldest of three girls, I just love watching families like this grow and change. All of the Nagel girls are wonderful to be around and so friendly and outgoing! I look forward to many more sessions with them!
Jen and her boys are spending the summer up in Minnesota. Currently she and her family live in Washington DC, but needed a reason to get out of the city and enjoy a Minnesota summer! When she asked if I would do a session for her family, I was so excited! Jen and I were good friends in high school and seeing her again made me so happy. She’s a wonderful mother and her boys had me rolling throughout our session!
It was a beautiful day to meet the Michaelson’s and do their first as a family of three photos. Sweet little Liam was such a smiley baby as we wandered the grounds of the park. The trees were in full bloom and the park was theirs. I loved meeting this family and look forward to more sessions with them in the future!

Baby Mary has arrived and is already so deeply loved by Nicole and Aaron.
I’ve had the true honor of photographing this family since their oldest was born over 16 years ago, and watching their story grow through each new season has been something really special. From newborn snuggles to busy, full family life being invited back again and again is something I never take for granted.
This family is deeply rooted in the world of forage, county fairs, and raising and showing lambs and sheep, so it only felt fitting to include a little lamb hat for baby Mary’s first photos. A small nod to a big part of their life and traditions.

Spring soirée perfection.
Rob and Sarah’s wedding day was a beautiful blend of faith, family, and thoughtful design. Inspired by Monet’s garden paintings, their celebration was filled with soft spring colors, meaningful heirlooms, and intentional details at every turn.
After a joyful ceremony at Eagle Brook Church, surrounded by family and friends, they celebrated the night away at Silverwood Park with beautiful florals, heartfelt speeches, lakeside portraits, and dancing.
One of my favorite details? Sarah changed into her mother’s wedding dress for the reception, while flowers made from that same gown were sewn into her veil.
