Candace and Keith: Details

The details of a wedding day can go missed by the bride and groom as the day wisps away from them.  As photographers, it is our job to be another pair of eyes for the couple to come back to after the day is gone.  I was thrilled to have wonderful details to shoot and vendors to work with.

Debbie Turner Originals graced us with her floral creativity both with the bouquets, boutonniere,  and at the Club.

Candace’s dress and veil were a Pricilla of Boston find.

Her bracelet and hair piece were from the funky and fun Che Bella, and the invites were created by Amy Zaroff Events and Design.

The groomsmen sported Savvi Formalwear

The girls hair and make up was done by Rocco Altobelli’s Salon in Edina.  (Candace you are stunning!)

Candace’s necklace and earrings were a gift from her new in-laws purchased from Hudson Jewelers in St. Louis and they were so beautiful on her!

These super, uber fun bridesmaids that kept me laughing all day were dressed in Priscilla of Boston dresses and Target jewelry.

Christ Presbyterian Church in Edina held the ceremony, and it was wonderful.

Apres decorated Edina Country Club with its finest, making the room colorful and fun!

Candace and her mother created some of their own details; socks for dancing in and place cards!

The cakes of the evening were created by Queen of Cakes.

And the grooms cake, very appropriate for the occasion as Candace and Keith met at a rival football tailgating party…

And my favorite part of the day… A candy bar created by Mary Hamilton.

More eye candy to come tomorrow of the beautiful couple!

Zach and Jen- Details of a Minneapolis wedding

Fall weddings are my favorite.  Zach and Jen’s was so wonderful and elegant.  I  loved all the details that made their day happen perfectly and showed off their personalities.  Here are some of the vendors that I worked with that day and I would highly recommend.  More photos of the wedding day to come tomorrow!

Jen’s dress was a beautiful Priscilla of Boston dress, it was so beautiful on her and her bright purple heels were Anne Klein.

Zach and his groomsmen were sporting Savvi attire.

All of Jen’s flowers were amazing and done by Floreal.

Check out these awesome necklace by J-Crew!  They accented the purple Macy’s Bridal bridesmaid dresses fantastically!

The invites, place cards, programs, and table names were done by Letter Perfect.

The Jewelry that Jen chose was Priscilla of Boston and their rings were designed by Thomas Joseph and Sons.

The ceremony was held at Wayzata Community Church and the reception was Wayzata Country Club, both stunning places for photos.

Decor at the Club was Richfield Floral

Dessert table and cake were served by Country Cake Cupboard, and it was fabulous!

The Traveling Photobooth showed up with fun while Jason and the G-men jazzed us and Instant Request got the party started!

It was such a great day, I can not wait to share more!

Tyler and Lisa: details of a Minneapolis wedding

Tyler and Lisa’s wedding day was completely amazing.  They were both so. much. fun. to .work with!  The day was overcast during the pre-ceremony photos, which I love, and then the sun peeked through the clouds during the ceremony and stayed for the remainder of the evening giving us as photographers, the best of both worlds.

I came to know that Lisa loves pink.  And she did an amazing job accentuating it throughout the details of the day.  Pinks were in the candy jars at the tables.  My wonderful assistant, Elena, did a fabulous job capturing the entirety of the room at Bearpath.

Lisa purchased her dress at the Wedding Shoppe in St.Paul.  She looked stunning in it!

She rocked it with her Calvin Klein heels.Bearpath in Eden Prairie was so beautifully stunning that day.  The flowers were in full bloom, and Coordinators Katie Dix and Kim Davis  made sure we were taken care of the entire day!Colleens Flower Cellar blew me away with her design.  All the flowers were beautiful.

Tyler purchased Lisa’s and his rings at Jared’s in Maple Grove.  They got a loud congrats from his 6th grade girls basketball team for “finally going to Jared’s!”  Elena captured this awesome shot with her macro, beautiful!

Nan Fletcher from MAC made Lisa stunning for her day.  Her make-up was beautiful.Another thing I learned about Lisa on her wedding day was how creative she is.  She and her sister made all the jewelry for all the bridesmaids.More to come tomorrow of this beautiful couple.  So thankful I was able to share such an important day with you.

Joe and Jamie: Details of a Minneapolis wedding

I got their invite in the mail and carefully opened it, beaming.  They had chosen orange as their theme color and I was soooo excited.  The beautiful bright colors of orange and yellow were integrated throughout Joe and Jamie’s day and accented the couple and their August wedding beautifully.  Here are some of this beautiful couple’s details.  More of the wedding coming up tomorrow!

      Friday fun: random favorites

Being a photographer in Minneapolis is so seasonal, as the warmer weather affords for more outdoor activities, and more weddings and family portraits are scheduled.  This month I specifically set aside some time to enjoy the summer and my family.  I decided to not shoot any weddings this month so that I had some weekends that were free to do summer activities, and get geared up for the fall.  Here are some really random summer favorites that I pulled for today’s blog.

      1) Attending a wedding… as a guest!  In June our family was invited to a wedding that I was a guest at.  It was wonderful to attend and get all dressed up for (one of my favorite things to do).  We basked in the “I do’s” and the company of friends.  Of course I had to bring the camera, but more for the sake of getting a photo of the kids dressed up together!

      2) I have been in the process of re-decorating my house.  Here is a site that has been inspiring me called Ruffles and Ramblings.  I just think these two sisters have some really creative ideas.

      Happy weekend!
