Anne and Chris were such fun to photograph! Their two little munchkins were super adorable to photograph as well. Here are a few from our downtown session. I am looking forward to our fall session!

In the Feder home, the first thing to come with swimsuits and pool days is watermelon. It is the first true sign that summer has actually come. Finally, it is warm enough to eat the sweet wonderful fruit the way it should be eaten… in triangles and all messy! The only place I like to allow this is outside! It is the perfect treat for a summer day! Here’s to many more!

Kim totally blew my socks off. We had been trying to set up a session for about 3 months. When she called to try once more, she said; “We are moving to Arizona on Friday, can you do a session for us on Thursday morning? I’ll set up child care and everything for you and I found a site that is only 5 blocks from your house!” How could I pass it up? So Kim, here are a few for you. Thanks for your encouragement! Blessings to you as you travel to AZ!

Gen’s family is truly amazing, or should I say she and her husband are amazing! They not only have 2 beautiful doggies, but 2 children that are 10 months apart! (I thought I had it hard!) It was wonderful to watch them in action, the love for one another emanates through them. We had a wonderful time perusing through father Hennepin park in Minneapolis, and her children were awesome! They laughed at all my quirky 3 year old jokes. (Helps to have a 3 year old at home to test these jokes on!) It was a pleasure working with this family!

From their engagement session, to their wedding, to the birth of their first daughter and now to their second, it’s been a joy and honor to be able to photograph couples like the Wargo’s as their life changes.
It’s what makes my job so meaningful and fulfilling! Congratulations Hannah and Jake, your family is beautiful!
Including siblings in your newborn session… yes or no?
My answer is always yes.
It might feel a little chaotic in the moment, but those are often the images you end up treasuring the most—the real connection, the tiny interactions, the beginning of a new family story.
I’ve loved watching the Luong family grow through all three of their children’s newborn sessions, and those sibling moments are always some of my favorites.
If you’re wondering how it all works (and how we make it easy), I wrote a full blog post about it! Check it out in my stories
