closeOne of the best things about having a favorite location to shoot in is that you always know the best time that the light will hit. For the Larsons, they got that magical moment with the golden light of the day behind them as it set.
I just love these moments with families like the Larsons! Such a sweet family, full of so much joy the loads of laughter! I will be so excited to see them again this year!
So many families brought in another member to their family this past year… a Covid puppy. The Selby’s brought home sweet Chester. It was a joy to see this family and meet their new pup at one of my favorite locations.
The Selby’s always bring so much joy and laughter to their sessions, I always love seeing them!
Being with the Raeger Family always makes me so happy. Ranee and I have been friends for years and her sweet family always brings me so much joy! Their fall session at Burwell park was full of laughs and beautiful sunlight!
It is always a joy to spend time with the Raegers and I was so happy to be able to spend time with them!
When Briana knew that she was having a summer baby, she just knew she wanted to do a session outdoors highlighting the season, the flowers and the sweetness of her baby girl.
I met the Epsen family at the Minneapolis Rose Gardens (one of my favorite summer session spots) and we used the gardens for their luscious green backgrounds and space for her two year old to run.
We had a beautiful summer day without a cloud in the sky, perfect for family photos and keeping a newborn hot and sleepy!
I had the honor of photographing Mike and Nicki’s wedding a few years ago, so you can imagine how excited I was when they asked if I would do a mini session of their first son. Born in the spring, we had to capture him among the blooms of the season.
Just as the trees had begun raining their beautiful, fragrant blooms to the earth, we captured the newness of life as it also came to the earth!
What a blessing to see families like the Franks throughout so many wonderful seasons of life!
