closeI had the honor of photographing Mike and Nicki’s wedding a few years ago, so you can imagine how excited I was when they asked if I would do a mini session of their first son. Born in the spring, we had to capture him among the blooms of the season.
Just as the trees had begun raining their beautiful, fragrant blooms to the earth, we captured the newness of life as it also came to the earth!
What a blessing to see families like the Franks throughout so many wonderful seasons of life!
Including siblings in your newborn session… yes or no?
My answer is always yes.
It might feel a little chaotic in the moment, but those are often the images you end up treasuring the most—the real connection, the tiny interactions, the beginning of a new family story.
I’ve loved watching the Luong family grow through all three of their children’s newborn sessions, and those sibling moments are always some of my favorites.
