How can you not just love a nine month old and their expressions! This little one and her family had plenty of them for me!

Shannon and Keith are some of my favorite clients to see! Their wedding is one that I will always remember, not only because it poured the entire day, but because I was in New York City. When they moved to Minneapolis for Keith to attend school and had their first child, I was thrilled to photograph her. This fall their little girl, Brooklyn, turned one, I was so to see them again and see how she had changed. What a great fall day we had for our shoot and she was a gem throughout the entire time!

Thank you for always capturing us so well! 🙂 We loved our day with you this fall and enjoy catching up with you each time.
Karen! Very nice pics of some favorite people of mine! YAY, YOU! Thanks for posting these; I hadn’t seen them before.
Think of you often!
Memories of Shannon and Keith’s wedding will never be forgotten…how about having to sleep on the floor of the recreation room of the retirement “resort”!!! The venue of the reception was spectacular! I didn’t know of the “storm” outdoors until we were leaving that night or that the power in the reception had gone out and we were on emergency light! Ha! I thought it was “mood” lighting! That caterer who was assigned to me for the duration did well to keep the wine flowing! HA!
Pete! What a night that was! Such a fun one to remember!! the accomidations were just about the best part!! we were in great company! Wish you all were closer, your entire family brings me so much joy!! Hope you get in some time with those sweet grand babies!!
Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and today Cyber Monday! Through all the wonderful friends, food, family, and shopping, check out these 2 sweet families I was able to photograph this weekend!
Donohue Family
Fronden Family
It was one of the last, really nice days of fall here in Minnesota. The weather was warm and perfect for this sweet little one year old. She even showed us her stuff as she strutted through the leaves. I can’t believe how much she has grown since the last time I saw her. What a sweetie!

From their engagement session, to their wedding, to the birth of their first daughter and now to their second, it’s been a joy and honor to be able to photograph couples like the Wargo’s as their life changes.
It’s what makes my job so meaningful and fulfilling! Congratulations Hannah and Jake, your family is beautiful!
Including siblings in your newborn session… yes or no?
My answer is always yes.
It might feel a little chaotic in the moment, but those are often the images you end up treasuring the most—the real connection, the tiny interactions, the beginning of a new family story.
I’ve loved watching the Luong family grow through all three of their children’s newborn sessions, and those sibling moments are always some of my favorites.
If you’re wondering how it all works (and how we make it easy), I wrote a full blog post about it! Check it out in my stories
