St. Thomas Aquinas Chapel & Glass House Wedding :: Minneapolis, MN

Emily and Jackson’s love story began back in 2017 when mutual friends introduced them. For four years, they built a solid foundation as friends before they started dating — and it didn’t take long for everyone around them to see how natural their connection was. The two share so much joy in life together — whether that’s baking in the kitchen, hopping in the car for a good road trip, or relaxing at home with their three cats.

In 2022, Jackson surprised Emily with the sweetest proposal at Madden’s on Gull Lake, a place his family had cherished for generations thanks to a tradition started by his grandparents. On a quiet evening by the lake, Jackson asked Emily to marry him, and she said yes!

Fast forward to September 20, 2025: their beautiful wedding day.

Getting Ready

The morning began at the Courtyard by Marriott in Saint Paul, where Emily and her bridesmaids prepared for the day. The atmosphere was filled with excitement, laughter, happy tears, and anticipation while Blush Beauty Room worked their artistry on hair and makeup. Emily looked effortlessly elegant and calm in her gown from Ivory Bridal Co., a dress that perfectly reflected her timeless style.

From there, the girls headed to the Chapel of St. Thomas Aquinas, where sunlight streamed through the windows, providing the perfect glow as they slipped into their periwinkle bridesmaid dresses. Meanwhile, Jackson and his groomsmen were also getting ready nearby in the grooms suite.

A Private First Look

Before the whirlwind of the day truly began, Emily and Jackson chose to share a private first look in a quiet cove on the St. Thomas campus. It was there that they read their handwritten vows to one another a moment filled with emotion, tenderness, and the deep love they’ve built together.

Ceremony at St. Thomas Aquinas

The ceremony was a beautiful full mass, held inside the stunning chapel. Guests marveled at Emily’s gown and the elegant jacket she paired with it. Family and wedding party portraits took place on the picturesque campus, with the grand architecture of the chapel serving as the perfect backdrop. A few portraits inside the sanctuary on the altar added a sacred touch before Emily and Jackson exchanged vows in front of their loved ones.

Reception at Glass House Minneapolis

Following the ceremony, Minnesota Black Car Service transported the wedding party in a sprinter van to the reception at Glass House Minneapolis. Located near the Minneapolis farmers market, the industrial-style venue was the perfect canvas for Emily and Jackson’s romantic vision.

Inside, Haute House Studio (Maddie, Marsha, and Bridget) transformed the space into a dream. Blue, white, and green florals filled the room, creating a lush and romantic atmosphere. The tables were designed in an S-curve layout that wrapped around the couple and their wedding party, making everyone feel connected. Not a detail was overlooked.

Guests were greeted by a spritz cart with bright, refreshing cocktails and a floral installation that welcomed them into the bar area. A photo guest book encouraged friends and family to capture fun memories together. The industrial glass designs inside Glass House paired beautifully with the soft blue candles, custom napkins, and textured linens, all provided by Linen Effects.

Dinner had a fun and relaxed twist: guests stepped outside to the Butcher Salt Food Truck, where they could choose from a variety of delicious meals before returning inside to mingle. Dessert was equally memorable a petite cake from Queen of Cakes for Emily and Jackson to cut, paired with donuts from Funner Brothers for guests to enjoy.

As the night unfolded, Jimmy of Instant Request kept the dance floor full with the perfect playlist. Emily surprised everyone by changing into a second dress and comfy shoes, ready to dance the night away. The evening ended with a quick photo outside, the Minneapolis skyline sparkling in the background — the perfect close to their perfect day. Thank you Jackson and Emily for an incredible day, congratulations to you both!!

Green Acres Wedding :: Eden Prairie, MN

On a picture-perfect July day in Eden Prairie, Kelly and Adam tied the knot surrounded by sunshine, laughter, and the people who love them most. Their wedding at the charming Green Acres Event Center was full of heartfelt moments, relaxed energy, and the kind of love that you feel in your chest, the kind that makes everyone around them smile.

Their story began with a swipe on Hinge and a first date over drinks at Yard House in St. Louis Park. From that first meeting, something just clicked. Kelly and Adam share a deep love for live music (especially country) and they’ve always preferred experiences over gifts, choosing to create memories together rather than collect things. It’s these simple, intentional parts of their relationship that make it so special.

When Adam proposed, he knew exactly what mattered most to Kelly: their sweet pup, Keva. On a summer morning walk through their favorite spot (Minnehaha Falls dog park) Adam secretly prepared for the big moment. After a series of test ball throws to make sure Keva would go in the river without it, he slipped a ring carrier onto her collar. When he called her to “go to mom,” Keva bolted… straight into the water! Eventually, Kelly noticed the ring carrier, and in total surprise and joy, she didn’t even let Adam get down on one knee before asking, “Are you serious?!” It was the perfect proposal!

A Calm Morning & Emotional First Looks

The morning of their wedding was everything Kelly hoped for; peaceful, joyful, and full of sweet anticipation. She got ready with Abbi Zwilling of Styled by Abbi, who handled both hair and makeup with such a calming presence. Shelly Olson also joined for hair styling, helping bring a soft, romantic look to life for Kelly and her bridal party.

As the final touches were being made, the day moved gently into one of its most emotional moments: the first look. Kelly and Adam shared a quiet, private moment together, just the two of them, seeing each other before the ceremony began. There were tears, hugs, and so much love. Then, Keva joined in for her own little first look with mom and dad, tail wagging and tongue out, making it a moment no one would forget.

Surrounded by Love & Laid-Back Celebration

Everything about Kelly and Adam’s day felt intentional and easy in the very best way. With the help of the incredibly talented Whitney Gladden of Whitney James Event and Design, every part of the day was beautifully planned and seamlessly executed. Whitney’s calm, joyful presence behind the scenes gave Kelly and Adam the freedom to truly enjoy every minute.

Their friends and family were the heart of the celebration. Everyone present genuinely cared for this couple, bringing with them an energy that was light, supportive, and filled with so much love. Green Acres provided the perfect rustic, romantic setting. Its unique barn charm and sweeping outdoor space created a relaxed atmosphere where guests could truly celebrate.

The florals by T&Nae added the most beautiful touches throughout the day. From Kelly’s bouquet to the ceremony arch, each arrangement was crafted with intention and perfectly captured the summer season.

Guests enjoyed a delicious meal by Green Mill Catering, who served up crowd favorites with ease and warmth. And when it came time to dance, Adagio DJay Entertainment kept the celebration alive, with a full dance floor and lots of happy feet.

Stylish, Sentimental, and Full of Personality

Kelly was radiant in her elegant Stella York gown, which she found at Luxe Bridal Couture. The dress suited her so perfectly; timeless, flattering, and full of joy. Her bridesmaids wore stunning sage dresses from Azazie, while the men looked sharp in suits from Men’s Wearhouse, adding a polished balance to the rustic surroundings.

Kelly and Adam’s rings were a combination of beautiful sentimentality, sourced from Wedding Day Diamonds, Modern Gents, and Target, a mix that reflected their playful and down-to-earth personalities. They also included their beloved Keva in the celebration with the help of DoggySocial, ensuring she was well cared for and photo-ready throughout the day.

From the simple stationery they created with Zola to the carefully chosen music and details, every part of the day told a story; a love that’s easy, full of laughter, and deeply rooted in shared adventures.

    A New Chapter Begins

As the sun dipped behind the trees and the lights twinkled on, Kelly and Adam danced into a new season of life together filled with live music, road trips, and long walks with Keva by their side. Their wedding at Green Acres Event Center wasn’t just beautiful, it was genuine, heartfelt, and unmistakably them.

Congratulations, Kelly and Adam! Your love is the kind that reminds us what really matters each other, and all the joy that comes with saying yes to forever.

The Refuge Golf Club Wedding:: Oak Grove, MN

Josh and Marina’s late May wedding was a beautiful celebration of family, faith, and timeless style. Set on a perfect Memorial Day weekend with 75-degree sunshine and a brief lucky rain shower, their day was filled with thoughtful details and meaningful moments from beginning to end.

A Love Rooted in Family & Faith

Marina grew up in a large, close-knit family, and it was important to her that her wedding day reflect her deep love for tradition and togetherness. Josh and Marina share a strong foundation built on faith, and their ceremony at First Baptist Church of St. Francis was a beautiful representation of that shared devotion.

Getting Ready at Marina’s Childhood Home

The morning began at Marina’s childhood home, surrounded by her sisters and parents. The energy in the house was filled with laughter, anticipation, and love. With a large family, these quiet moments before the big day were especially meaningful to Marina.

Amber Ripka styled the bride’s hair to perfection, giving her the classic, elegant look she had envisioned. Marina chose to do her own makeup—a testament to her natural beauty and graceful style. When it came time to step into her custom-made wedding gown, it was her mother who helped her into the dress—an emotional moment that Marina will always cherish.

Her gown, handcrafted by Nancy Lindquist, was the perfect reflection of Marina’s classic style. To complement the look, she wore baby blue heels imported from Sézane in France, and blue accents were woven throughout the day—from the soft hues in her Petals to Pines Floral bouquet by Georgia Edgington, to the touches in the stationery, designed through Vistaprint.

Marina’s look was rich with heirloom details. Her earrings, passed down from her maternal grandmother, had been worn by every bride on that side of the family. Her pearl necklace belonged to her paternal grandmother and had been worn by each of her sisters on their wedding days. Her bouquet even held tiny cameos as a tribute to her grandparents—a heartfelt nod to generations of love.

Josh & the Groomsmen at The Refuge

While the women got ready, Josh and his groomsmen enjoyed a relaxed morning at The Refuge Golf Club, where they shared laughs and prepared for the big day. The atmosphere was lighthearted and full of anticipation.

A First Look Beneath the Trees

Josh and Marina shared their first look under a peaceful grove of trees, a quiet and emotional moment that allowed them to take in the significance of the day. This was followed by wedding party photos and family portraits—complete with seven grandchildren under the age of four, bringing an extra dose of joy and energy to the day.

Wedding Party & Family Photos: Full of Laughter and Love

After their sweet first look, Josh and Marina were joined by their wedding party and families for photos. The energy was joyful and relaxed, with siblings joking around, lifelong friends cheering them on, and seven grandbabies under the age of four stealing the show. It was beautifully chaotic in the best way—just the kind of moments that reflect what matters most. With every photo, you could feel how deeply loved Josh and Marina are, and how much support surrounds them as they begin their life together.

A Meaningful Ceremony at First Baptist Church of St. Francis

Their ceremony took place inside their home church, First Baptist Church of St. Francis. The couple lit a unity candle and were prayed over by their parents—an emotional and powerful moment that honored the spiritual foundation of their relationship.

A Riverside Escape at Rum River North County Park

Following the ceremony, Josh and Marina took a private moment together at Rum River North County Park, a serene stretch of parkland along the river. It was a beautiful chance to soak in their first quiet moments as husband and wife.

Reception at The Refuge Golf Club

The celebration continued at The Refuge Golf Club, where guests enjoyed dinner catered by the venue and a night of dancing. The reception space featured romantic floral arrangements by Petals to Pines Floral, and music was provided by Jessica Shaw of Bellagala, who kept the dance floor lively throughout the night. Their cake, beautifully done by Hy-Vee of Brooklyn Park, was both delicious and picture-perfect.

      Golden Hour: Absolutely Delicious

As the sun dipped low and cast its golden light over the golf course, we snuck out for a few final portraits. Golden hour was absolutely delicious—warm, glowy, and romantic in all the right ways. Josh and Marina embraced, laughed, and soaked up the last light of their wedding day with ease. It was the perfect pause before the sparkler exit, and a magical way to close out a day so full of heart. This quiet, glimmering time together gave them space to just be present—and those photos turned out to be some of the dreamiest of the whole day.

At the end of the night Marina changed into a simple white dress for the grand finale—a sparkler send-off that closed the evening with joy, light, and celebration.

      Congratulations, Josh & Marina

Josh and Marina’s wedding day was a true honor to capture—from the legacy-filled heirlooms to the joyful energy of their big family and the sacred vows they shared. I’m wishing them all the happiness in the world as they begin their life together—and a beautiful honeymoon in Bayfield to kick it all off!

Private Residence Wedding :: Zimmerman, MN

Sidney and Ryan’s wedding day was a beautiful reflection of their love story—one that began all the way back in high school, filled with laughter, friendship, and years of growing together. Held at Sidney’s parents’ property in Zimmerman, Minnesota, their May wedding was intimate, emotional, and full of meaningful, personal touches.

A Love That Started on the Golf Course

Sidney and Ryan first met on the high school golf team—Sidney in eighth grade, Ryan in ninth. They were just 14 and 15 years old, and what started as a sweet friendship soon blossomed into something more. A year and a half later, under the Friday night lights at a homecoming football game, Ryan asked Sidney to be his girlfriend. Their first date was at the movie theater, and they’ve been inseparable ever since.

The Proposal: One Truth, One Lie

Their proposal story feels straight out of a country song—because it kind of was. Ryan had planned a walk at Grams’s Regional Park, but Sidney was sick and less than enthusiastic about leaving the house. After a little convincing, they made their way there, and while Sidney didn’t think much of Ryan being dressed up, she started to catch on when he asked her to sit on a bench and then play a song—“Diamond in My Pocket” by Cody Johnson.

That song had been an inside joke for years, with Ryan always saying “one truth and one lie” whenever the lyrics came on. But this time, he said, “They’re both true… well, it’s in my boot.” And then, in the sweetest twist, he pulled the ring out of his boot, got down on one knee, and asked her to marry him.

Wedding Morning at the Family Home

On the morning of their wedding, Sidney got ready in her childhood home, surrounded by her bridesmaids in soft, beautiful dresses from BirdyGray. Her hair was styled to perfection by Alyssa Hastings, and she slipped into her elegant gown from Vow’d Minneapolis and her classic Tecovas boots—a subtle nod to the country charm woven into their day. Meanwhile, Ryan and his groomsmen, dressed in timeless pieces from Men’s Wearhouse, prepped with anticipation, his Dan Post boots from Pleasant Hills Saddle Shop setting the tone for a laid-back yet refined celebration.

        An Joyful First Look

One of the most heartfelt moments of the day came during their private first look. Tucked away from the buzz of the wedding party, Sidney and Ryan shared emotional personal vows, just the two of them. It was quiet, sincere, and deeply moving—the kind of moment they’ll carry with them forever.

        Portraits and Quiet Joy

After soaking in that private time together, we moved into portraits, capturing their joy and natural connection. Being on Sidney’s family property made it feel even more special—we wandered through trees, open spaces, and all the spots that held meaning for them.

From the stationery by Basic Invite to the rings from Thurber Jewelers, every part of this day reflected who Sidney and Ryan are—classic, kind, and totally in love.

A Ceremony for Their Closest Circle

The ceremony was intentionally small, attended only by close friends and family. It felt sacred and special—an intimate gathering where every guest was someone who had walked closely with them through life. As they exchanged vows once more, this time in front of their loved ones, the joy was palpable. And when they made their way back down the aisle as husband and wife, guests showered them with a joyful petal toss, sending them into married life with laughter and color.

        A Table Branded with Love

After the ceremony, Sidney and Ryan did something completely unique—they branded a wooden table together, a keepsake they’ll now have in their living room to commemorate their new beginning. It was such a meaningful touch, representing not only their new last name but the intentional way they’re building a life together.

Dinner, Dancing, and Celebrating the Start of Forever

The evening continued with a delicious meal from Von Hanson’s Catering, and the reception space—styled with rentals from Isanti Rentals and florals from Flowers Plus of Elk River—felt both cozy and elegant. Every detail was thoughtful, but never overdone—just like Sidney and Ryan.Their DJ of PM Enterprise, kept the energy high and the dance floor full, and Andrew Burquest, their videographer, was there to document every moment—from quiet tears to wild spins under the lights.

And just when guests thought the night couldn’t get any better, a late-night surprise rolled in: Texas Roadhouse toast—one of Sidney and Ryan’s favorites—served hot and fresh to keep the party going. It was such a fun, personal touch that had everyone smiling (and grabbing seconds!).

Sidney and Ryan’s wedding was the kind of day that reminds me exactly why I do what I do. It wasn’t about putting on a show—it was about celebrating a deep, enduring love with the people who matter most. High school sweethearts who grew up side by side, who know each other’s hearts by memory, and who are starting this next chapter with as much tenderness as joy.

        A Beautiful Day

Sidney and Ryan, thank you for inviting me into such a sacred day. It was truly an honor to witness the beginning of your forever. Enjoy your amazing honeymoon to Hilton Head.

Loft 413 Wedding :: Stillwater, MN

Some love stories are years in the making—and Molly and Marino’s journey is a beautiful example of how friendship can grow into something lasting and joyful. Their May wedding in Stillwater, Minnesota was filled with personal touches, sweet surprises, and a whole lot of dancing, and I was so honored to be there to capture it all.

A Love Story Centered Around Community, Theater & Adventure

Molly and Marino’s story began back in high school, where Marino’s sister Liz just so happened to be one of Molly’s best friends. But it wasn’t until after college that the two reconnected—when Marino decided to put on a community theater production and Molly joined the cast. That first play sparked a tradition: they continued performing together year after year, growing closer with every script, scene, and show. In the summer of 2022, their friendship officially became something more.

Together, these two share a deep love for storytelling, whether it’s on stage, in an escape room (a shared passion!), or over a board game with friends. They even have a corgi named Pippa who brings a little extra joy to their everyday life.

          The Most Thoughtful Proposal

It only makes sense that someone with Marino’s flair for the dramatic would propose in a totally unforgettable way. He arranged for a custom escape room puzzle at their favorite St. Paul spot—Lodge of Lazarus Crowe. After completing a “normal” room, Molly was led to an upstairs area where a special message waited: “Look out the windows, count the trees, and get ready to take the leap.” When she turned back around, Marino was down on one knee. And the surprises didn’t stop there—a full city-wide puzzle hunt followed, leading Molly through key locations in their relationship, from their favorite trivia spot at Keg & Case to Red Rabbit, the site of their first date. It all ended with a surprise celebration surrounded by loved ones.

A Perfect May Wedding Day in Stillwater

Their wedding day was everything you’d hope a spring day in Stillwater would be—warm sunshine, joyful energy, and so much love. The day began with getting ready at The Hewing Hotel, where laughter and happy tears filled the rooms. Plush Beauty handled hair and makeup, and the team did an amazing job making everyone look and feel their best.

Molly wore a stunning gown from Luxe Bridal CoutureEssence of Australia—and a beautiful and colorful hand painted veil from the same boutique. She paired the look with elegant earrings and jewelry from Dareth Colburn and GoldPersonalized on Etsy. Marino looked dapper in his Heimie’s Haberdashery suit, complete with monogramed cuff links he found on Etsy.

          A Sweet First Look (x2!)

Once everyone was dressed and ready, we headed to the first look with Molly’s dad, and let me just say—there wasn’t a dry eye around. Moments later, Molly and Marino shared their own first look, soaking in the quiet moment before the celebrations kicked off.

          Portraits in Iconic Stillwater Spots

We took full advantage of Stillwater’s charm for wedding party portraits and stopping by the Lift Bridge, downtown parks. The energy of the wedding party matched the vibe of the day—fun, joyful, and ready to celebrate.

          Family Photos & Ceremony

Family photos took place shortly after, with the perfect mix of classic and candid moments. The ceremony followed and was filled with heartfelt vows, happy tears, and meaningful glances—everything that makes weddings so special.

          Cocktail Hour & Reception

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a lovely cocktail hour with delicious bites from Bella Vida Catering, managed by the wonderful Lindsay Cragoe. The florals, designed by Mary Eccher of 3912 Designs, added the perfect romantic touch throughout the venue.

The reception was where the celebration really came alive. From the first dance to the last song, Studio Veil (DJ Patrick) kept the energy high and the dance floor packed. Guests enjoyed the sweetest treats from Nadia Cakes, and the room was filled with custom signage from Canva that added a personal flair to every detail.

The whole day was beautifully coordinated by Emily Tweed with One23 Events, who ensured that everything ran seamlessly and stress-free. Her care and attention to detail allowed Molly and Marino to soak up every moment.

A Day Full of Love & Laughter

From the theater roots that brought them together to the playful, meaningful escape room proposal, every part of Molly and Marino’s story is unique and filled with heart. Their Stillwater wedding day was no exception. It was a joyful, beautiful celebration of two people who bring out the best in each other—and I’m so thankful I got to be part of it.

Molly and Marino, thank you for letting me celebrate alongside you. Your day was just as joyful and beautiful as the love you share, and I know this is only the beginning of an incredible adventure together.
