Melling Family

I am SO thankful for this woman.  You might have seen her around somewhere, but most of the time she is picking up my left behind lenses, making sure I don’t trip over my camera bag, gathering family members, or off in the corner snapping those unforeseen shots at weddings.  Elena is my wonderful assistant and helps me SO, SO much at weddings.  My head would not be screwed on tight if it weren’t for her on a wedding day.  She and I have been working together for almost 5 years and I am so grateful to call her one of my friends!

    Fall photos are my very favorite!  Warm days, leaves and lots of color.  Here is another one of my very favorite families. I just can not get over how fast kiddos grow.  I have been photographing Allison since she was 3 months old.  She is a spunky, sweet and beautiful child!

      Andrew and Christina

      Boating on the lake sounded wonderful to Christina.  After many long, indoor hours of working at Von Marr, spending a hot summer day outside would be a treat.

      Andrew had been all over the state that week.  His job forced him to be on the road throughout the dog days of summer as well, so when he was invited to spend an afternoon on the boat, he jumped on the opportunity.

      The two met there, and as they chatted the afternoon away with mutual friends a connection was made.  And when Andrew mentioned his love of Corvettes and the one he was restoring, Christina knew it was fate for she too loved Corvettes, and even owned one.

      For their engagement session, we headed to the lake they met on.  I can’t wait to spend more time with them this summer as they tie the knot!

        Last Minute Mini sessions!

        It’s not too late, family mini sessions are available and will be ready for Christmas!!

        Saturday November 5th I am offering 30 minute sessions at Mill Ruins Park (near Mill City) from 9 am to 5pm.  Cost is $50 plus MN tax for 30 minute session and $100 plus MN tax for a CD of 20 edited photos. In case of rain/ snow/ cold, photos available to be take inside the Guthrie Theater.  Photos will be ready  November 21st.  No re-takes available.  Please e-mail if you are interested!
