JP and Audra are kind, caring, generous and completely down to earth. I just love spending time with them and am thankful for clients like them turned friends. Our session was me against the light. We didn’t have much to work with, but we got in some great shots of this beautiful family!
If you have been following this blog for even a year, you have seen these beautiful kids on the blog. They are up on the header mainly because they are so stinkin cute, and are my best friends’ kids. (20 years of friendship, and she gets dibs on the headers!!) I just love having sessions with these guys, and this early morning session actually came off of a late night of dinner and chatting. We were all guzzling down the caffeine, but the kids did amazing, and look at Laura and her hubby Jonathan… aren’t they just as adorable as their kiddos!! It is an honor to photograph you all. Here’s to many more sessions, late nights and morning coffee! Love you all!
Jennifer and Ben have the CUTEST kids! I was so happy to be able to see them again this fall and photograph them all at their milestones; 5, 3, and almost 1!
Last fall she was expecting a baby at her sister’s wedding. I was photographing her adorable little 2 year-old son who was loving his role as the ring bearer. Being that Courtney was from Arizona, I didn’t expect to see her again, much less meet the baby she was pregnant with! I was so floored when her mother called to set up a session for the kids. They did extremely well for the 45 degree weather! (I guess they must be true Minnesotan’s at heart!!)
Lauren and Wade had waited for Max to come much longer than many parents. Waiting the 9 months out of pregnancy was hard enough, but waiting through the last 4 years had been even harder. (See Lauren and Wade’s pregnancy post HERE) After the years of waiting Max was born on a beautiful September day. I was thrilled to get the message and couldn’t wait to hold the little guy as well as take his photos! Max, you are a blessing and an answered prayer to not only your parents, but to many!
From their engagement session, to their wedding, to the birth of their first daughter and now to their second, it’s been a joy and honor to be able to photograph couples like the Wargo’s as their life changes.
It’s what makes my job so meaningful and fulfilling! Congratulations Hannah and Jake, your family is beautiful!
Including siblings in your newborn session… yes or no?
My answer is always yes.
It might feel a little chaotic in the moment, but those are often the images you end up treasuring the most—the real connection, the tiny interactions, the beginning of a new family story.
I’ve loved watching the Luong family grow through all three of their children’s newborn sessions, and those sibling moments are always some of my favorites.
