closeHe was leaving for three months. Joining the Army was something Nate had always wanted to do, but leaving his family wasn’t. As his three year old Alivia danced around him joyously admiring him, kissing him, and loving on him. I couldn’t help but get a little teary. The sacrifices that our Army men and women make to keep our country safe is unbelievable. Nate and Jeana, thank you for your sacrifices. You are a family worth looking up to.
Since she was 3 months old, I have photographed this unbelievable cutie! She hit two this week and as many say, I can’t believe how she has grown and how fast time has flew!
“We have cake, ” was one of the first comments to come out of his mouth. A few days before, the Williams family celebrated Sam’s first birthday. With only 13 months between the boys, many mistake these two for twins. But as it was today, the cake two year old Jack was talking about was for his younger brother. “And we get to eat it, ” Jack finished. After a few rounds around the house, a trip outside, some playing, some smashing and smearing, he did get a piece of Sam’s cake. The side that had not been totally destroyed!

Being that they were musicians, it seemed only natural to put Hana at the piano to pound out a 9 month old tune. She continued smiling all the way through the shoot, and it made for a beautiful day! Happy Friday!
From their engagement session, to their wedding, to the birth of their first daughter and now to their second, it’s been a joy and honor to be able to photograph couples like the Wargo’s as their life changes.
It’s what makes my job so meaningful and fulfilling! Congratulations Hannah and Jake, your family is beautiful!
Including siblings in your newborn session… yes or no?

It might feel a little chaotic in the moment, but those are often the images you end up treasuring the most—the real connection, the tiny interactions, the beginning of a new family story.
I’ve loved watching the Luong family grow through all three of their children’s newborn sessions, and those sibling moments are always some of my favorites.
