    Birthday fun

I do love birthday’s.  I especially love celebrating them when the person being celebrated is turing one!  I have had the awesome privledge of photographing Alyssa at her milestone moments.  See HERE for 3 months, HERE for 6 months, and HERE for 9 months.  When the 12 month mark hits, I feel like I am photographing old friends.  This  birthday celebration was exactly that way, like being with old friends.  Tara put on an amazing celebration!

I just loved this little fur coat and the way Alyssa kept her headband in the entire day… my 6 year old doesn’t even do that!

Look at this great expression… caught her more than once during the time doing this!

Her cousin made this great card for her, I couldn’t help but photograph him with it before he gave it to her!

    The cake before…

    And after…

Happy first birthday Alyssa!  Tara and Mike, thanks for letting me a part of it!

      A new use for Floss

My girls woke me up yesterday dressed in pink and hearts, all ready to celebrate Valentine’s day.  Little do they know, we have about 2 weeks and Elise’s birthday to go until that special day arrives!  Never the less they really wanted to make Valentine crafts, and last night I just so happened on a new blog and found this great craft that she had done.  To see her site and beautiful art see HERE. So all that to say, this is not my idea, but one that we were able to use and decorate our house with this morning!

It is a super easy craft.  (My 2 year old boy, was not in the slightest way interested though!)

To start off you will need floss, a sewing needle and a stack of old magazines or catalogs.

Have the child sew the floss though the hearts ( I cut them all out).

From there, tie a knot at the top and presto, you are finished with a super fun and easy craft!  Happy Friday!

      The Muechleck Family: Stillwater Family

I love returning clients.  I shot Chris and Sarah’s wedding almost 2 years ago.  From then, I have been able to see them every 6 months to catch up on their lives and their kiddos.  I am in love with these 2 little guys, both are so stinkin cute.  We had a wonderful day of fall leaves and fun.  I am looking forward to more shoots with this sweet family.

Look at this cutie hat Lincon is wearing.  I loved it!

        Williams family: Chicago Family

Katie and I met through a series of people and she has blessed my life!  When little Jack arrived last year, I was able to catch some of his “newness” and this year at 10 months he was ready to conquer the world.  I loved it!  We had such a great evening for photos and I am so happy I got to see this family on a trip home from Chi-town.  I am looking forward to meeting their newest little one on their next trip to MN.
