Like I said, it has been newborn week here on the blog. Easton was a great little trooper as we captured his teeny-newborness. It is a joy to work with return clients like Jeana and serve this sweet family.

Ellie was a sweetie to photograph, and I just loved her family photos with her parents and her brothers. Adding a girl to this sweet family is a dream come true for her parents!!

It was a baby week! Here are two of the cuties I got to photograph this week! Happy Monday to you!

After moving out to Baltimore to go to nursing school, Greta met Tim. They were both at a birthday party for a mutual friend and hit it off instantly. The two lived together as friends and roomates even before they started dating, and decided to get married and move back to Greta’s home town of Minneapolis. Along their journey sweet Vera and Liam, twins, were born to the couple! I have the honor and privledge to photograph this amazing wedding next week and can not wait to share more!!

In June I was able to go visit some of my very favorite people to be loved on and love back. These five girls and I lived together our sophomore year in college and they later became some of my closest friends. Together with them and two other units of girls (one living above and one living across the hall) we all became a tight knit group. Through marriage, having children, cancer, losing parents, infertility, losing babies, moving across the country, and the world, having hardships with children, we have been through so much together, and been prayer warriors for one another. God has taught us all how to grow and continue to minister to one another.
Even though we all don’t live close in proximity, we are blessed to have each other sharing in our lives throughout the ups and downs. And now, as we have kiddos, we continue to be able to share in life together. Here is a snippit of some of our kids that spend the weekend with us!!
(My dream would one day get a photo of all the girls and their families together as one big group… Angie can I get you on that?!! xo!)

From their engagement session, to their wedding, to the birth of their first daughter and now to their second, it’s been a joy and honor to be able to photograph couples like the Wargo’s as their life changes.
It’s what makes my job so meaningful and fulfilling! Congratulations Hannah and Jake, your family is beautiful!
Including siblings in your newborn session… yes or no?
My answer is always yes.
It might feel a little chaotic in the moment, but those are often the images you end up treasuring the most—the real connection, the tiny interactions, the beginning of a new family story.
I’ve loved watching the Luong family grow through all three of their children’s newborn sessions, and those sibling moments are always some of my favorites.
If you’re wondering how it all works (and how we make it easy), I wrote a full blog post about it! Check it out in my stories
