There is something particularly special in the relationship between a mother and her son. Growing up in a house full of sisters and then having 2 girls, I never knew what this relationship entailed…until I had a son! I only have 1 eighteen month old son, but he is SO EXTREMLY DIFFERENT than my girls. It is a love/ hate relationship. Love when he kisses me with and comes running for a hug; hate when he climbs on my table and BREAKS my coffee pot in the morning (and then cheers for himself!) Megan and her sons were a breath of fresh air to me in the world of sons. She has a 2 and 4 year old, and they are BUSY and so FUN! I loved getting in the middle of these mom tackles and watching Megan just love on them. She is an amazing mom (and first grade teacher!). I was so glad to be able photograph this busy season of her life.
