Andria and I met in a mom’s group and I had the great privilege of getting to know her through her amazing life story and her very precious gift, Joshua. We headed out to the warehouse district of Minneapolis on one of the most beautiful Saturday’s of October yet. The Monson’s brought along their sweet doggie and Joshua brought along his ultra fast trike! The October sun is beautiful this time of year, so even at 10 in the morning we had some amazing light. Including siblings in your newborn session… yes or no?
My answer is always yes.

It might feel a little chaotic in the moment, but those are often the images you end up treasuring the most—the real connection, the tiny interactions, the beginning of a new family story.

I’ve loved watching the Luong family grow through all three of their children’s newborn sessions, and those sibling moments are always some of my favorites.

No one said you had to do newborn photos inside! Taking lifestyle newborn photos outside and making them true to your style makes them even more meaningful and significant!!
