closeBack in 2011 I had the honor of photographing Carrie and her hubbie Michael, as well as seeing an old friend (her brother) Jason. This past winter, Jason was back to Minneapolis from Alaska visiting family with his sweet daughter and Carrie just had her first little girl. Their mother contacted me to do a family session of all of them together and this was the outcome! Sweet cousins!
Including siblings in your newborn session… yes or no?
My answer is always yes.
It might feel a little chaotic in the moment, but those are often the images you end up treasuring the most—the real connection, the tiny interactions, the beginning of a new family story.
I’ve loved watching the Luong family grow through all three of their children’s newborn sessions, and those sibling moments are always some of my favorites.
